EVERYBODY

I am nobody who wants to be somebody

to help anybody so everybody will join

to help the next nobody.

Then nobody joins somebody who invites

anybody and they all become everybody

to work together and help nobody.

In the end there is always somebody

who is friends with anybody and they

belong to a group called everybody.

And nobody is never excluded.

IT'S ABOUT TIME

I rounded them up, hatred, greedy,

jealously, revenge and fear.

Bring also prejudice, resentment,

selfish, malice and bitterness here.

SHOW THEM ALL THE DOOR!

I don't need them anymore.

              CHOOSE ONLY ONE!
              DISCARD THE REST.

I CLEANED OUT MY HEAD.
SO MUCH GARBAGE I HAD.
THAT WAS A LOAD I GOT RID OF.
I FEEL SO MUCH BETTER!
IT'S EASY TO SMILE.

GOD LOVES YOU

Inside this
gigantic universe.
There is an
enormous milky way.

Inside this enormous
milky way.
There is a massive planet
Earth.

On that massive planet
Earth.
There is a huge town.

Inside this huge town.
There is a large house.

Inside this large house.
There is a big room.

Inside this big room.
We find You!

It was God who created you.
He set you inside this gigantic universe.
With a special message.

Let's Be Happy

It's not fun to be pouty,
I rather be silly.
It's not fun to be grumpy,
it's better to be funny.
It's not fun to be crabby,
I like to be zany.
It's not fun to be grouchy,
I rather be happy.
It's not fun to be gloomy,
it's better to be cheery.
It's not fun to be angry,
I like to be friendly.
I don't want to miss,
a life full of bliss.
So no more feeling moody,
I am going to be HAPPY!

My Dad

For all the walks, chats and pierogi we made.
For bingo, probe and other games we played.
For all the songs we sang and the times we prayed.
I hold on to the memories.
I WILL REMEMBER YOU.
Trips to the park, festivals and visits to the zoo.
For the times at the library and Sundays at church too.
For all the special holidays I spent with you.
I hold on to the memories.
I WILL REMEMBER YOU.
We watched TV together and played connect four.
Outings at the party and shopping at a store.
We dug up a garden, and so much more,
I hold on  to the memories.
I WILL REMEMBER YOU.

Which Book?

Toby picked up six books from the library.
He placed the books on his desk.
He sat down and wondered which book to read first.
Suddenly, the first book stood up.
"Pick me!" shouted Book one.
"Look inside, it's full of adventure."
Toby heard another voice.
He looked up and noticed Book two edged forward.
"Don't listen to him," Book two replied.
"My book is funny, you'll laugh out loud."
The third book jumped up and came forward.
"Read me," cried Book three.
"My book is about dinosaurs."
"Wait a minute," Book four hollered.
"My book is better," Book four proclaimed.
"You can read about your favorite animals.
The Fifth book stepped forward.
"Examine mine," Book five exclaimed.
"I's about your favorite hero."
The Sixth book took his turn.
"Don't forget about me," Book six replied.
"This book is written by your favorite author."

WHICH BOOK SHALL TOBY CHOOSE?

WHICH BOOK WOULD YOU CHOOSE?

A Ten Dollar Bill

Toby was on his way to class when he
accidentally dropped his ten dollar bill.
Mr. Z, a teacher walked down the hallway
and noticed the ten dollars on the floor.
He picked up the bill and placed it
on the desk at the Lost and Found room.
Jimmy walked inside the Lost and Found room
and spotted the ten dollars on the desk.
He grabbed the money and handed it to Joey,
in exchange for a set of comic books.
Joey trekked over to Billy's house and
handed the ten dollars to his friend for his music CD.
Billy made his way to Jill's house and handed
her the ten dollars to pay off his debt.
Jill headed over to the grocery store and
handed the owner the ten dollars,
in exchange for a basket of apples.
The owner took a trip to Jimmy's house
and handed the young boy ten dollars,
for filling the baskets with apples.
Jimmy raced back to the
Lost and Found room at school
and placed the ten dollars on the desk.
Toby who lost his money at school,
walked over to the Lost and Found room.
He drew a sigh of relief when
he found his lost ten dollars on the desk.
IS IT POSSIBLE,
ALL TRANSACTIONS ARE LEGIT?

Danny's Only Wish

           Y
Buddy peeked through the doorway inside a hospital.
He noticed his friend, Danny weeping beside his bed.
Buddy sat next to him and tried to cheer him up.
"I am afraid," Danny cried. "I have surgery and I might die."
Buddy grabbed his friend's hand and assured him he would live.
Buddy handed Danny a get well greeting card.
Danny noticed that the whole class signed the card.
Danny reached for a note on top of his dresser.
He handed the note to Buddy.
"Please show this," Danny pleaded, "to the whole class."
Danny wrote a little request, "please pray for me?"
Buddy promised his friend that the whole class will pray for him.
One week later, the school bell rang.
All the kids rushed to their classrooms.
Room 112 was very quiet.
Buddy and the rest of the class sat and waited for the right moment.
The teacher stood nearby and stared at the clock.
Moments later, the classroom door opened.
Danny walked slowly to his desk.
The whole class stood up and clapped their hands.
A banner hung overhead with the message,
"WELCOME BACK, DANNY!"
Danny stood in front of the class,
and tried to hold back the tears.
Danny scanned the whole room and proudly,
thanked the class for all the prayers.

The House That Mom Cleaned

This is the house, that mom cleaned.

This is the cat, that lived in the house, that mom cleaned.

This is the dog, that chased the cat, that lived in the house, that mom cleaned.

This is the girl, that roused the dog, that chased the cat, that lived in the house, that mom cleaned.

This is the boy, that scared the girl, that roused the dog, that chased the cat, that lived in the house, that mom cleaned.

This is the bowl, filled with cream corn, that splattered the boy, that scared the girl, that roused the dog, that chased the cat, that lived in the house, that mom cleaned.

This is the baby, dressed adorn, that knocked the bowl, filled with cream corn, that splattered the boy, that scared the girl, that roused the dog, that chased the cat, that lived in the house that mom cleaned.

This is dad, tattered and torn, that fed the baby, dressed adorn, that knocked the bowl, filled with cream corn, that splattered the boy, that scared the girl, that roused the dog, that chased the cat, that lived in the house, that mom cleaned.

This is the neighbor, who blew the car horn, that spooked the dad, tattered and torn, that fed the baby, dressed adorn, that knocked the bowl, filled with cream corn, that splattered the boy, that scared the girl, that roused the dog, that chased the cat, that lived in the house, that mom cleaned.

This is mom, tired and worn, that waved at the neighbor, who blew the car horn, that spooked the dad, tattered and torn, that fed the baby, dressed adorn, that knocked the bowl, filled with cream corn, that splattered the boy, that scared the girl, that roused the dog, that chased the cat, that lived in the house, that mom cleaned.

This is the family, who had sworn,
to wash the floor, in the early morn,
in the house, that mom cleaned.
