Ode To Writers

Today I set myself a goal.
I'll craft the words that will show.
I created a story that's engaging and fun.
You'll enjoy the characters, every single one.
I'll write about a funny new tale.
It stars a lovable talking whale.
I'll add in a silly white goose.
And I'll write like I'm Dr. Seuss.
But suddenly I have bad luck.
My mind goes blank and I'm stuck.
Now I am in a state of shock.
I got a case of writer's block.
No problem I am still going to write.
I won't stop until I got it right.
I'll use words that'll dazzle their mind.
And place the main character in a bind.
Now it's over my story is complete.
I consider this moment a huge feat.
I am finally finished and I feel great.
And not once did I procrastinate.

Choose A Book ?

Cathy  picked up six books from the library.
She placed the books on  her desk.
She sat down and pondered
which book to read first.
Suddenly, the first book popped up
and stepped forward.
"Pick me!" cried the first book.
"Take a look inside, it's full of adventure."
Then Cathy heard another voice.
She looked up and noticed
Book two staring at her.
"Don't listen to him," Book two replied.
"My book is funny, you'll laugh out loud."
The third book stood up and came forward.
"Read me," book three said.
"My book is about dinosaurs."
Book four edged forward.
"My book is better," Book four proclaimed.
"You can learn about your favorite animals."
The fifth book came up and hollered,"wait!"
"Examine mine," Book five exclaimed.
"It's about your favorite hero."
The sixth book took his turn.
"Don't forget me," Book six replied.
"This book is written by your favorite author."
WHICH BOOK SHALL CATHY CHOOSE?
WHICH BOOK WOULD YOU CHOOSE?

My Valentine

I'll send you a card, and write you a letter.
I'll bring you some hugs, to make it even better.
I'll make you some tea, and cook your favorite food.
Set up a candle lit dinner, for a romantic mood.
We'll cuddle on the couch, and watch some TV.
And in this very moment, you lean in and kiss me.
We'll sit on the patio, and watch the sunset.
I'll recite you a poem, about the moment we met.
When the night draws near, we'll go for a walk.
We'll stroll by the park, where we'll sit and talk.
In the light of the night, under the shining moon.
I'll take you in my arms, and sing you a tune.
We'll lie on the grass, and scan the night sky.
Make a wish on a star, when it goes by.
When the night is over, we'll hold each other tight.
We have one long kiss, before we say good night.

4 My Dad

All the times I helped you,
All the times we shared.
All the things I did for you,
I showed that I really cared.
My times with you I treasure,
more precious than real gold.
Those times we sang together,
those memories I'll always hold.
My times with you were splendid,
we had great times each day.
Those memories keep me going,
they'll never fade away.
My times with you were special,
we were happy as can be.
Those times we colored together,
and also watched TV.
My times with you have ended,
it's so hard to say goodbye.
Till we meet again.
those memories will never die.

Hey Little Child

Hey little child, come take a look.
I just bought you a picture book.
If that book is something you don't like.
I'm gonna buy you a brand new bike.
If that bike has a dent or flat.
I'm gonna buy you a new hat.
If that hat makes you look funny.
I'm gonna buy you a little bunny.
If that bunny doesn't want to eat.
I'm gonna buy shoes for your feet.
If the shoes is tattered or torn.
I'm gonna buy you a musical horn.
If that horn is cracked or broke.
I'm gonna buy you a colorful cloak.
If that cloak is ever too small.
It's your time to buy anything at all.

In The Beginning.........

This is the sky that God created.
This is the sun that shines through the day and
divides it from the night with the stars
that light up the sky that God created.
This is the earth that orbits the sun
that shines through the day and
divides it from the night with the stars
that light up the sky that God created.
This is the land with flowers and trees
that fills the land that orbits the sun
that shines through the day and
divides it from the night with the stars
that light up the sky that God created.
This is the waters with fish and whale
that flows on the land that fills the earth
that orbits the sun that shines through the day
and divides it from the night with the stars
that light up the sky that God created.
This is the animals large and small that lives
on the land surrounded by water that flows on the earth
that orbits the sun that shines through the day and
divides it from the night with the stars
that light up the sky that God created.
These are the people that take care of the animals
that live on the land surrounded by the water
that flows on the earth that orbits the sun
that shines through the day and divides it
from the night with the stars that light
up the sky that God created.

THIS IS THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE
LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD IN IT.

The First Christmas

The word became flesh, on that very night.
When the shepherds, saw the beautiful sight.
It's our Savior Jesus, who was born.
He came from heaven, in the early morn.
It was that night, when salvation has begun.
When God has sent, his beloved Son.
He came down, to save us from our sin.
We could surely see God's love within.
He died on the cross for our sake.
So that our bondage of sin would break.
So every Christmas, we recall that day.
When we proclaim that it's Jesus Birthday.

K I D S

They smile and cheer,
they have so much fun.
They run and catch,
they play with everyone.
They wiggle and twist,
they're funny in all they do.
They skip and jump,
they ride their bikes too.
They see and touch,
they always look around.
They yell and scream,
 they make so many sounds.
They giggle and laugh,
with old friends and new.
They fight and fall,
they get dirty too.
They have so much fun,
they are a joy to see.
They are the ones,
that bring out the kid in me.

Visit The Zoo

The alarm goes off and up comes the sun.
It's time to get ready to have some fun.
You get out of bed and what do you do?
You go on a trip to visit the zoo.
You go through the gate and what do you see?
The tiger is on the prowl and a lemur is on a tree.
You look at the elephants and the meerkats too.
You see the black bear and the flamingos in view.
Koalas are pretty cute and the baboon is on the go.
Sea lions are swimming and the turtles are slow.
You spy on the gator and the gorilla on the grass.
You stare at the snake and the fish behind the glass.
Zebra makes you dizzy and the rhino's sitting down.
Monkey is with a baby and lion is wearing a frown.
You spot a wild leopard and the lizard on the ground.
You find a gray goat and the cougar running around.
The cheetah goes fast and the jackals can run.
The puma's on the move and otter's having fun.
You follow the weasel and the big horn sheep.
You come across a fox and the panda's asleep.
Watch the penguins walk and all the birds fly.
Notice the kangaroos and the bats hanging high.
Hippo's in the water and the giraffe is really tall.
Ostrich is eating and there's a pony in the stall.
You have seen all the animals in your visit at the zoo.
We hope you had fun and learned something new.
It's time to go home, we'd love to see you again.
We hope you come back and bring along a friend.

Is He Clever ?

Ben owns a grocery store.
He put up a sign on the window.
Tomatoes, 25 cents a piece or
three for a dollar.
The first customer walked in and complained.
"That's not fair," the young lady said.
"I should get four tomatoes for a dollar."
Ben apologized and provided the customer,
four tomatoes for a dollar.
The second customer walked in and
made a big fuss about the sign.
"That sign can't be right," he said.
"It should be four tomatoes instead of three."
Ben agreed with the old man and
sold him four tomatoes for a dollar.
Ben's friend, Charlie stood near by
and watched the whole episode.
Charlie pulled Ben aside.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" Charlie asked.
"You should correct the mistake on the sign."
"What mistake?" Ben bellowed.
"Before the sign was up." Ben said.
"Customers only bought one tomato."

Is It Possible ?

Billy was on his way to class when
he accidentally dropped his ten dollar bill.
Mr. Polk, the teacher picked up the ten dollars and
placed it on the desk at the lost and found room.
Joey walked in and spotted the ten dollars.
He grabbed the money and handed the ten dollars
to Randy in exchange for his comic book.
Randy trekked over to Marty's house and
handed his ten dollars to his friend Marty,
for his latest issue of  Comics digest.
Marty made his way to Jill's house and handed
her the ten dollars to pay off his debt.
Jill headed over to the neighbor's house
and handed the gentleman ten dollars
in exchange for a bucket of apples.
The neighbor took a trip to Joey's house and
handed the young boy ten dollars for
picking up apples in his orchard.
Joey raced back to the school's lost and found
room and placed the ten dollars back on the desk.
Billy headed over to the lost and found room
where he discovered his missing ten dollar bill.

IS IT POSSIBLE?
Every transaction was legit?
