Tell Me A Joke

Henry: Can I tell you a joke?
Pete: Only if you are a tenor.
Henry: A tenor?
Pete: Yes, ten or eleven feet away.
Henry: Ha ha ha

Henry: Can I please tell you a joke?
Pete: Only if you go solo.
Henry: Solo?
Pete: Yeah, so low that I can't hear you.
Henry: You are so funny

Henry: I just figured out just how the sun rises.
Pete: How did you figure it out?
Henry: Finally, it dawned on me.
Pete: Ha ha, so you're trying to be a comedian. 

Henry: "I went to see the doctor about my memory problem?"
Pete: How did it go?
Henry: "He made me pay in advance!"
Pete: Hmmm....

Henry: " Do you know mime's favorite color?"
Pete: No, what is his favorite color"
Henry:  "I don't know, either, he won't tell me."
Pete: Was I supposed to laugh?

Henry: "Do you know why I brought a ladder to school?"
Pete: "I have no idea."
Henry:  "My music teacher told me to sing higher."
Pete: "Keep trying." 

Henry: "Do you know why I brought a light bulb to school?"
Pete: "You got me stumped."
Henry: "I had a bright idea."

Pete: I like your last joke.
Henry: You really liked my last joke?
Pete: Yeah, because it was your last one.
Henry: Ha ha, funny. You should try to be a comedian.
Pete: I could try but I might be as bad as you are.
Henry: You remind me of Brad Pitt.
Pete: Brad Pitt, he's not a comedian.
Henry: Now, you know why I don't laugh at your jokes.

Make Me Laugh

Pete walked down the hallway at Liberty High School.

He noticed his friend Jeff leaning at his locker

with a frown on his face.

"What's the matter?" Pete asked him.

The young boy responded quickly,

"I am waiting for someone to make me laugh."

Pete's eyes lit up. "I'll make you laugh!"

"Why did the singer climb up a ladder?"

"To reach the high notes," Pete said.

Jeff's facial expression never changed.

Buddy came along and overheard their conversation.

"I'll make you laugh," Buddy proudly said.

"Why are all air conditioners so popular?

"Because they all have fans," Buddy answered.

Jeff leaned back and continued to frown.

Wally was eager to try. 

He stood next to Jeff  and shared his best joke.

"How do you find a spider in the internet?"

"Check out his website," Wally said.

Jeff didn't think it was funny.

Cathy walked toward Jeff and started to laugh.

Jeff became curious.

"What's so funny?" Jeff asked her.

Cathy ignored him and continued to laugh.

Wally, Buddy and Pete began to laugh.

"What is so hilarious?" Jeff asked.

The rest of the class joined in and laughed.

Jeff was persistent.

"Why are you all laughing?"

The rest of the class paid no attention to Jeff.

Jeff's mood changed immediately.

He joined in with his own comical laugh.

The laughter continued until the school bell rang.

They all walked back to their classes with

a smile on their faces.

Jeff pulled Cathy aside.

"You never told me," Jeff said.

"What was so funny?"

Cathy grinned back at him and answered.

"I made you laugh, didn't I?"

  

Make Me Laugh

Pete walked down the school hallway during recess.

He noticed his friend, Jeff with a big frown on his face.

"What's the matter?" Pete asked.

"I'm waiting for someone to make me laugh."

Pete's eyes lit up.

He pulled out his little joke book and proceeded

to tell his friend the funniest joke he ever heard.

But Jeff's facial expression never changed.

Buddy came along and told his friend an amusing story.

But once again Jeff had the same frown on his face.

Cathy walked toward Jeff and started to giggle.

"What's so funny?" Jeff asked.

Cathy ignored him and continued to chuckle.

Pete and Buddy began to laugh too.

Jeff asked them again what is so funny?

The rest of the class joined in and laughed.

Jeff was persistent, he asked again what is so funny?

Cathy and the rest of the class paid no attention to him.

They laughed, and laughed and laughed.

Jeff's mood changed immediately.
