BORN AGAIN

 

I saw the light that pierced my heart,

and shattered my pride.

I was exposed for my hidden sins,

there was nowhere to hide.

I humbly came before the Lord,

I asked him to forgive me.

A merciful God and the blood of Jesus,

I was set free.

I saw the light that broke the darkness,

from my day.

The light that came from God,

who saved my life today.

My sinful nature was cast away,

my new life began.

By the grace of God and my redeemer,

I was born again.

I saw the light that shook my soul,

I was no longer the same.

By a loving God and his only Son.

my whole life was changed.

Now my darkness is behind me,

a new path is just ahead.

My old self had to go,

I have a new self instead.

ARMOR OF GOD

 

There's a battle surrounding me,

it's between love and hate.

The one I feed today,

it will soon dominate.

This conflict continues,

each day I'm awake.

It's a battle for my mind,

I have a choice to make.

I carry the armor of God,

I won't give in to anger.

I'm equipped with what I need,

that helps me from danger.

It's a spiritual warfare,

according to God's word.

I'm convinced God will help me,

it's a promise I'm assured.

HOUSE OF THE LORD

 

This is the day, we love to see.

In the house of the Lord, a place to be.

Brothers and sisters, will come this way.

We gather together, to worship today.

We hear the music, from the band.

We start to sing, we raise our hand.

We praise the Lord, we sing a song.

We honor the Lord, when we sing along.

We clap our hands and we sing again.

We raise our voice and we shout amen.

This is the day, a day to rejoice.

We glorify the Lord, with joyful noise.

THIS IS OUR MOMENT

 

Let's gather together and lift up our voice.

This is our moment, a time to rejoice.

Our Lord and Savior, we worship and praise.

We see his good works, in his wonderful ways.

It's not hard to find, you see it every place.

His abounding love, his mercy and grace.

Many souls are saved, the blind can see.

They're all forgiven, they're all set free.

The cross is a reminder, for what he's done.

The ultimate sacrifice that came from God's Son.

There's nobody like him, we honor him every day.

We believe God's word, Jesus is the only way.

GOD'S PLAN

 

God gave one life to me and you.

One voice to spread the good news.

Two hands to give a helping hand.

One heart to love and understand.

Each second to help us on our way.

And provide us with all we need today.

So give your best in every way you can.

God wants you to lend a helping hand.

One Holy Spirit to help us do our part.

Each day to live with a prayer and a song.

And all his help and love to make us strong.

ETERNAL LIFE

 

I write about Jesus and preach about him,

because that's who we need today.

For it is written in the bible,

that only through Jesus can man be saved.

I write about love and teach about love,

because that's what we need to do.

For God said to love everyone,

and that means me and you.

I write about Jesus and write about salvation,

because you need to know the truth.

For the end is near and if you choose Jesus,

it means eternal life for you.

I write about the bible and teach about it,

because that's what we need to hear.

For it's the book of books, the word of God,

that says salvation is near.

FIRST CHRISTMAS

 

The word came true, when the time was right.

When the shepherds saw the beautiful sight.

It's our Savior Jesus, who was born.

Who came down to us in the early morn.

It was that night that salvation had begun.

When God sent his only beloved Son.

He came down to save us from our sin.

We could see God's love through him.

He died on the cross for our sake.

So that our bondage of sin would break.

We celebrate that first Christmas day.

When our Savior Jesus came here to stay.

CALL TO WORSHIP

 

Up every Sunday, to church we go.

We come to serve, the God we know.

We're ready to worship when the service starts

We raise our hands, we open our hearts.

We hear the choir, they raise their voice.

With songs of praise and joyful noise.

The crowd joins in, we start to sing.

We proclaim our Lord, our Savior and King.

We sing more songs, we clap our hands.

We sing to the music from the worship band.

For we come together in one accord.

We show our devotion to our precious Lord.

We sit right down and hear the homily.

We hear the message that God loves me.

We end the service with a call to prayers.

We say it aloud to the God who cares.

   

 

FAITH

 

Read the word of God, recite it every day.

Hear the words he said, trust in God today.

Then your faith believes, what God said is true.

Your heart opens up, to what God can do.

Faith believes the word, that God speaks to you.

You put your trust in him, he'll help you through.

Hear the word of God, believe, speak and do.

Walk on this faith and live by it too.

I RELY ON JESUS

 

I won't back down, when life looks grim.

I call on the Lord, I rely on him.

I have the bible, to read what he said.

It's the only way to know what lies ahead.

I won't back down, I know what I believe.

I pray to the Lord, there's help I'll receive.

The world may crumble, God is in control.

He's greater than all, he protects my soul.

I won't back down, Jesus is with me.

So it doesn't matter what I can't see.

I live by faith and obey God's command.

Therefore I know he has it all planned.

OPEN MY EYES

 

Open my eyes, open my heart.

Show me your way, I'm ready to start.

Reveal to me, what I can do.

I give you my best, I promise you.

I give you my life, I give you my soul.

Create a new heart and make me whole.

I give up my pride, I give up my ways.

I'll follow you Lord in all my days.

Teach me your way, I'll do my part.

I'm here to obey, I'll listen and wait.

Your word is powerful, your ways are great.

I trust in you and do what you say.

My hope is in you, I'll serve you today.

I devote this time, I can help someone.

But not my will, but your will be done.

IF YOU KNEW JESUS

 

Jesus died and rose again to pay the cost.

What I gained is better than what I lost.

From the empty cross and empty grave.

His pierced hands and the life he gave.

The ultimate sacrifice that set me free.

My old self is gone and theirs a new me.

Before I was dead, dead in my sin.

But here and now, I'm born again.

That's why I sing and worship him today.

That's why I shout and praise him every day.

That's why I proclaim him King of Kings.

He's my life, love and hope in everything
