Love At First Sight

Down by the street, I was walking by.

I see all the people and feel really shy.

I stop and glance and what do I see?

It's a beautiful girl and she's looking at me.

I smile at her and walk on by.

 I start to wonder, if she'll say Hi.

I stand and gaze, at the beauty I see.

I feel the joy, when she comes to me.

I feel my heart, it's pounding really fast.

I start to think, it's my chance at last.

I start to shake, what should I say?

This is my moment, I want her to stay.

"I'm taking a walk, to enjoy the view."

"I'm looking for a friend, how about you?"

She stops to think, for a moment or two.

She asks herself, "what am I going to do?"

I gaze at her, as she starts to talk.

She takes my hand and we go for a walk.

I hold her close and everything is fine.

She gives me a hug and I know she's mine.

Be My Valentine

Each time I think about you,

somehow I know that your love is mine.

A love that brings us together,

and a love that will last forever in time.

Each year at this time, I say this love  

will never leave us apart.

I know this love of ours

will always be special in our heart.

Each time I think about you,

and a love that will always shine.

Danny's Only Wish

P      R      A     Y

Buddy peeked through the doorway inside a hospital.

He noticed his friend, Danny weeping beside his bed.

Buddy sat next to him and tried to cheer him up.

"I am afraid," Danny cried. "I have surgery and I might die." 

Buddy grabbed his friend's hand and assured him he would live.

Buddy handed Danny a get well greeting card.

Danny noticed that the whole class signed the card.

Danny reached for a note on top of his dresser.

He handed the note to Buddy.

"Please show this," Danny pleaded, "to the whole class."

Danny wrote a little request, "please pray for me?"

Buddy promised his friend that the whole class will pray for him.

One week later, the school bell rang.

 All the kids rushed to their classrooms.

Room 112 was very quiet.

Buddy and the rest of the class sat and waited for the right moment.

The teacher stood nearby and stared at the clock. 

Moments later, the classroom door opened.

Danny walked slowly to his desk.

The whole class stood up and clapped their hands.

A banner hung overhead with the message,

"WELCOME BACK, DANNY!"

Danny stood in front of the class,

and tried to hold back the tears.

Danny scanned the whole room and proudly,

thanked the class for all the prayers.

Those Golden Days

I still recall when we were little kids,

playing ball with our friends.

We shared stories about school, 

we rode our bikes till the day had end.

We helped each other in many things,

no matter what we had to do.

Sometimes it was little things,

but it helped us through.

I still recall during our high school days, 

you practiced for the play.

I said those lines holding a book,

while you memorized everything you had to say.

Then you went before a crowd,

and did the best thing you ever had done.

And I stood up and clapped my hands,

I was proud you were number one.

I still recall those beautiful memories,

that no one can take away.

Memories of someone special like you,

that comes along once this way.

Those memories will linger on,

even if we are a thousand miles away.

Those precious moments of me and you,

and all our friends in those golden days. 

Thoughts To Ponder (Part four)

1)    Life is short, Death is sure.

Sin the cause, Jesus the cure.

2)   Are you part of God's construction crew,

or part of Satan's destruction crew.

3)    God's word teaches us,

 to love one another not hate.

4)  As long as we have 

the grace of God,

failure is not final.

5)    Faith is the gate between

 our troubles and God's power.

6)    It's not our job to judge people.

It's our job to love people. 

7)    When we hold back our best efforts,

because our haunting past.

We are letting the past

 decide our future.

8)   No life is hopeless, 

unless Jesus is ruled out.

9)    Too many people put

 their bible on the shelf.

Instead of reading the bible daily
and putting God's words into our hearts.

10)     Other books was published

 to provide information.

The bible was given

 for our transformation.

11)    The bible is like a bank,

it's most helpful when it's opened, 

and we read what God has to say.

12)    Salvation is not something we achieve,

but rather we receive.

Let's Exercise

So are you ready to get fit?

Do you have time to commit?

Exercise is easy, it can be done.

It's a workout and it's really fun.

If you stumble, now and then.

Just get back up and start again.

Choose one exercise, that suits you.

There is so much that you can do.

Aerobics, ballet and dance too.

Even a treadmill, to name a few.

Go for a jog or get on a bike.

Play some tennis or go on a hike.

You don't have to run a race.

You can go at your own pace.

Stretch a little bit, followed by a swim.

You can use weights to stay trim.

So head to the gym, and kick up your feet.

You can do this, with rhythm and beat.

They tell you, it's healthy and fun.

Whether you walk, jog or even run.

You can exercise, an hour each day.

Bring along a friend and start today.

No more excuses, it's time to commit.

Set yourself a goal and just do it.

Jesus is the Reason

The word became flesh, on that very night.

When the shepherds saw the beautiful sight.

It was our Savior Jesus, who was born.

He came from heaven, in the early morn.

It was that night, when salvation had begun.

When Almighty God, sent his beloved Son.

He came down to save us from our sin.

We could surely see God's love within.

He died on the cross for our sake.

So that our bondage of sin would break.

Now every Christmas, we recall that day.

When we proclaim, that it's Jesus birthday.

The Young Boy Named TY

No one could understand,

the young boy named Ty.

He didn't talk, he wouldn't say Hi,

He stood around,

and watched the birds fly.

A toy in his hand,

and a fantasy world in his mind.

The lonely young boy,

was one of a kind.

Every boy and every girl,

would always reply.

We are all friendly,

why is he so shy?

No one could understand,

the young boy named Ty.
He's peaceful as a bird  in the sky. 
Nothing to say, not even a friendly Hi.
The picture less face
that no one can explain.
Every look and every whisper,

comes out the same.

Why is he so timid,
when everything is okay?

No one could understand,

the young boy named Ty.

From My Heart

I am knocking at the door of your heart.

Waiting for you, so we will never be apart.

I long for the day, to be held by you.

I will wait patiently, that is what I can do.

There is no other girl, for me to see.

You are the one, that was meant to be.

Even if it is another day and another time.

I will wait till your love will be mine.

You can look into my heart and in my eyes.

He's a friend, who loves to help everyone.

Everything he does, it's always for someone.

No one does it better, than my friend.

He reaches out to help, anytime he can.

You can tell, he wants to help again.

He's always there, when you need a hand.

Everywhere he goes, he helps another friend.

Nothing could be better, than the love he shows.

He reaches out to help, wherever he goes.

You can see, he helps everyone he knows.

The Dating Game

The spark may not come,

when your hear someone's voice.

It may not even come.

when you meet by choice.

You should approach dating,

like a tiny little seed.

It doesn't grow in one day,

but with love and care indeed.

It takes time and patience,

and it's worth the wait.

Because you may experience,

something that will be great.

Dating should be more  

than love at first sight.

Get to know each other,

it doesn't happen over night.

It's more than a person's hair,

or even their own face.

It's more than a body,

or if it's all in the right place.

It takes more than a phone call,

or meet once or twice.  

You can't treat dating,

like you're throwing some dice.

How can you know,

unless you give it a try.

The next one you meet,

could bring sparkle in your eye.

Face The World

Face the world with the Lord,

with his love and all his care.

Face the world with the Lord,

with the faith he is there.

he will provide what you need.

with the promise he will lead.

with the life he freely gave.

with the joy you were saved.

IT'S HALLOWEEN

I saw a monster come in,

on this spooky night.
Then a mummy entered,
it was a frightful sight.
A ghost suddenly appeared,
it was a scary scene.
Then Frankenstein showed up,
he looked rather mean.
Even a witch flew in,
with a haunting voice.
A skeleton dropped by,
he made a dreadful noise.
A hairy goblin stepped in,
I wanted to scream.
 I noticed saw a vampire walk in,
this must be a dream.
After all this confusion,
I came to this conclusion.
They are not scary,
they are dressed for Halloween.
