LOVE

 

When there is love,

we see it in action.

It displays compassion,

and it shows affection.

It's always patient,

it shows they care.

And love always means,

that God is there.

Love always protects,

love is strong.

Love never keeps,

no record of wrong.

Love is gentle,

love means giving.

Love always means,

they're always forgiving.

With all these virtues,

love is the key.

Put it all together,

and you get unity.

LIGHT OF THE LORD

 

I once had a dream that I'll never forget.

It seemed so real, about a stranger I met.

He held a big sign that you couldn't miss.

Printed in bold letters, "You Got To Hear This."

He pointed to the candles, with a message for me.

"They'll Shed Some Light, On How Life Should Be."

There were four candles, only one with a flame. 

Attached to each candle, it had their own name.

The first candle spoke, "It's JOY you need today."

"No one cared to listen, so my flame faded away."

Second candle proclaimed, "It's PEACE to bring harmony."

"They chose to hate instead, my flame you won't see."

"It's LOVE!" third candle said, "for anyone torn apart."

"They chose to ignore me, so I can't warm their heart."

The fourth candle declared, "I still have light."

"I represent HOPE!" you can use me tonight."

I took the one candle, to light the other three.

I came to realize, there's HOPE inside of me.

When I lit each candle, PEACE, JOY and LOVE. 

I receive all three, when I seek God above.

DO EVERYTHING WITH LOVE

 

I am a complete mess!

I feel like trash much less.

I wonder what I can do.

When I'm hurting too.

Where do I go from here?

How do I stop this fear?

I fell and got back up again.

But I have no best friend.

With no purpose and no car.

I can't see how I got this far.

There's no reason to look back.

But I can see clearly what I lack.

If I knew back then, what I know now.

I can do more, so I make this vow.

I focus on Jesus and always think of.

Everything I do, I do with LOVE!

It may be a glance or the way she says Hi.

It can be the way she walks that looks so fine.

Now you can't get her out of your mind.

It's the magic of this love.

She's all that you can think of.

It hits you straight, in your heart.

This feeling you have, you cannot hide.

Your heart beats now, your smile comes out.

Feed the one !

Jim and Tim did not get along.
They fought and argued every single day.
"Give it back," Jim shouted.
Jim grabbed his brother from behind 

and wrestled him to the floor.

"What's going on in there?" their mother asked.

Their father walked in and separated the boys.

"Will you boys ever stop fighting?"

The two parents decided enough is enough.

The boys will spend a weekend with Grandpa.

Jim and Tim followed Grandpa to the car.
"Where are we going?" Jim asked Grandpa.
"Let's visit an animal sanctuary," Grandpa announced. 

They stopped near a large gated fence

where lions roamed in the field.

Grandpa sat both boys down

and proceeded to tell them a story.

"There are two lions that continue

to fight over everything.

One lion was full of anger, 

hate and resentment.

The other lion was full of

love, peace and compassion."

"Which lion do you think will

win this fight?" Grandpa asked them.

The two brothers looked at each other

and shook their heads. "We don't know."

"The one you feed." Grandpa replied.

Grandpa leaned over and

whispered to them.

"The same fight is going

on the inside of you."

"Which one will you feed?
