Precious Memories

 

On July 23, 2014,

it was God's plan.

For a lovely lady,

meet this lonely man.

I remember that moment,

 it's etched in my mind.

When I met her,

she was friendly and kind.

I take a moment,

I can also see.

Those precious memories,

she spent with me.

I saw our love,

 how much it's grown.

We lived in a place,

 we called our home.

I take a moment, 

I look back again.

I heard her say, 

you're my best friend.

It was six years, 

nothing like this before.

And it all began,

 with a knock on my door.
