My hair is gray,
my body is weak.
I'm slowing down,
I'm past my peak.
The less I do,
but yet I still.
I remain strong,
to do God's will.
My bones tell me,
what I can't do.
So in these times,
I try something new.
I work on my garden,
and walk even more.
But what hasn't changed,
I serve the Lord.
I need my glasses,
to improve my sight.
I need a break,
every morning and night.
Sometimes I forget,
what I wanted to say.
But one thing I remember,
when it's time to pray.
