A PROMISE AND A PRAYER

 

I close my eyes,

 and I pray to you.

I ask you Lord, 

what can I do?

I long for the day, 

you hear my prayer.

For my mission in life, 

just show me where.

I deny myself,

 and take up the cross.

Whatever I gained, 

I consider it a loss.

I will follow you Lord, 

wherever it may be.

Just show me now, 

what you have for me.

I submit to your will, 

I give up my ways.

I serve and obey, 

for the rest of my days.

I give you my best, 

in everything I do.

I promise to be faithful,

and always honor you.
