REMEMBER WHAT GOD SAID

 

If there's any disagreement,

how do we handle it?

Because tensions can build up,

a quarrel is imminent.

We're overcome with emotions,

and in return.

A bitter argument begins,

and a war of words.

There is a way,

that'll produce a solution.

It starts with self-control,

and with good intentions.

It may not be easy,

that's where God comes in.

God can help us,

through his Holy Spirit.

We turn to God,

and read his Word.

We're careful with our response,

we practice what we learned.

We pray about it,

and remember what God said.

We're commanded to love,

and make amends.

PRAYERS ARE NEEDED

 

My friend is very ill,

he nearly died.

The doctor informed him,

surgery is required.

There's no guarantees,

about the outcome.

There are no other options,

it has to be done.

I CAN ONLY IMAGINE,

WHAT HE'S GOING THROUGH.

HOW CAN I HELP,

AFTER HEARING THE NEWS?

I KNOW THERE'S HOPE,

BECAUSE WHAT GOD CAN DO.

I PRAY FOR HIS HEALING,

PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM TOO?

I have another friend,

my next-door neighbor.

The doctor told her,

that she has cancer.

They'll give her treatment,

but there's no cure. 

These are hard times, 

for her to endure.

I CAN ONLY IMAGINE,

WHAT SHE'S GOING THROUGH.

HOW CAN I HELP,

BECAUSE WHAT GOD CAN DO.

WHAT I KNOW ABOUT GOD

 

We have a God,

that knows my history.

He knows my thoughts,

it's never a mystery.

God planned my life,

before the beginning.

He knew my sins,

but he still loves me.

Any problems I faced,

God had foreseen.

In his infinite ways,

he would intervene.

So whatever I encounter,

there's no need to worry.

If I rely on God,

then surely I'll see.

What God had promised,

the help I'll receive.

It's a matter of time,

if only I believe.

So God will do,

as he did back then.

Help is on the way,

the only question is when.

THIS IS MY COMMITMENT

 

You gave me this task,

it wasn't about my qualifications.

It's what you're able to do,

despite my limitations.

It's about my obedience,

and to follow your way.

I rely on your Word,

and continue to pray.

Here I am Lord,

for the work you choose.

For the plan you designed,

to spread the good news.

I have your assurance,

you're always present.

And with your help,

the people will repent.

I share my testimony,

so they will believe.

What you did for me,

they will also receive.

This is my commitment,

my goal to serve you.

For the very purpose,

you created me to do.

ONE TRUE GOD

 

The Bible is more than,

about heroes from long ago.

As fascinating the stories are,

there's more we should know.

About the one true God,

who helps his own people.

Those who are obedient,

while he defeats the evil.

God finds a way,

what others can't do.

The power he displays,

and performs miracles too.

The impossible becomes possible,

when God is involved.

The troubles is no problem,

God has it solved.

He restores the hearts,

of those who are broken.

And it all happens,

by words God had spoken.

It becomes evident,

God is not a spectator.

He is very active,

and he'll do even more.

GOD PROVIDES OUR NEEDS

 

The impulses of our flesh,

are subject to temptations.

We have this desire,

when something gets our attention.

The tendency to want more,

that's inside of us.

We convince ourselves,

that we need this.

It's pleasing to our eyes,

it's all about pleasure. 

It's hard to ignore,

even with media pressure.

So take the advice,

words of King Solomon.

All of them are meaningless,

chasing after the wind.

Treasure here on earth,

has no lasting value.

But what God offers,

we should always pursue.

There's so much to gain,

when it's God we seek.

Because God loves us,

he'll provide what we need.

ASK SEEK AND KNOCK

 

Your words clearly say,

to pray without ceasing.

With all kind of requests,

and you hear me.

Be my source of strength,

to do my task.

You said it'll be given,

so this I ask.

The words you said,

is to know the truth.

It will set me free,

I know what to do.

There's only one way,

I keep this in mind.

If I seek the truth,

it's you Lord I find.

Your words remind me,

what you said back then.

Knock at the door,

and it will be opened.

So what that means,

I have a deeper understanding.

I learn more about you,

and your purpose for me.

GOD DID IT

 

When good things happen,

I get excited.

The news I received,

that was unexpected.

Opportunities came up,

I found new friends.

A one-time enemy,

now we made amends.

It's moments like this,

I don't take it for granted.

I am very thankful,

that God did it.

My dream came true,

all of the sudden.

It wasn't good luck,

God gets the credit.

Long before I was born,

this was all planned.

Now I look back,

when this all happened.

My life has changed,

I savor every moment.

I am very thankful,

that God did it.

GOOD SAMARITAN

 

There will be someone,

God brings along our path.

They may need encouragement,

or more important than that.

We offer our assistance,

like a good Samaritan.

Whatever they may need,

we do what we can.

God provides the opportunity,

we help out a stranger.

It could even be,

our next door neighbor.

Just a thoughtful deed,

or just our presence.

We lift up their spirits,

and build their confidence.

There's a smile on their face,

joy fills their mind.

And all it takes,

we're friendly and kind.

There's something we can give,

what people may lack.

When we share with others,

we make an immediate impact.

 

IT'S ONLY YOU LORD

 

They say there's many ways,

they get to heaven.

They find what they like,

there's choices they're given.

It's not hard to find,

there's churches everywhere.

Where preachers will say,

what they want to hear.

IT'S ONLY YOU LORD,

THAT IS THE WAY.

IF ONLY THEY BELIEVE,

THEY CAN BE SAVED.

OPEN THEIR EYES LORD,

SO THEY CAN SEE.

SO THEY WILL KNOW,

YOU'RE THE ONE THEY NEED.

They say good works,

they earn their way.

They deserve to go,

when they pass away.

They're not so bad,

compared to the evil.

What they say are lies,

they can ruin many people.

IT'S ONLY YOU LORD,

THAT IS THE WAY.

IF ONLY THEY BELIEVE,

THEY CAN BE SAVED.

OPEN THEIR EYES LORD,

SO THEY CAN SEE.

SO THEY WILL KNOW,

YOU'RE THE ONE THEY NEED.

GOD HEALED ME

 

The doctor told me,

there was no cure.

But there's one thing,

I know for sure.

There is one verse.

that's in the Bible.

God can do anything,

nothing is impossible.

I prayed every day,

with tears in my eyes.

I've kept the faith,

as years went by.

I tried many methods,

to ease my pain.

Despite all my efforts,

it was done in vain.

Some days it was hard,

it hampered my ability.

It took a toll,

that shook me.

But today I can say,

with joy in my heart.

That God healed me,

I have a fresh start.

WE GO TO CHURCH

 

We go to church,

with a purpose.

We gather together,

of great importance.

It's more than,

a Sunday service.

We glorify the Lord,

in his presence.

It's a place of worship,

we take part in this.

Where God is revered,

for how great he is.

We come before him,

and we sing along.

We express our adoration,

in prayer and song.

Even when we don't,

have a great voice.

We know the Bible states,

it's a joyful noise.

So we look up,

our hands are raised.

We honor the Lord,

with songs of praise.

WE BELONG TO JESUS

 

Let's get rid of hatred,

that's so prevalent today.

Let's be more careful,

in what we say.

Put away any bitterness,

and remove any anger.

Let's find a way,

to make things better.

Let's approach each day,

with the right mindset.

Everyone matters to God,

and not only that.

God has called us,

to love one another.

Build each other up,

and help each other.

If someone hurt you,

we need to forgive.

And those in need,

we cheerfully give.

It's time we unite,

to those around us.

So they will see,

we belong to Jesus.
