IN GOD WE TRUST

 

The desires of our heart,

is what we seek.

We pray to the Lord,

we make our plea.

Our expectations are high,

we can't wait to see.

But how will we react,

if it wasn't meant to be?

Remember his promises,

and also we're blessed.

Then we trust God,

to do what's best.

His ways are better,

and he's amazing indeed.

We can be sure,

he'll provide what we need.

The problems we encounter,

the struggles we have.

It's hard to endure,

when there's a setback.

What God has allowed,

he has a plan.

So remember our life,

is in his hands.

So it's very important,

we trust in him.

Because what he started,

he will complete it.

He turns things around,

and it brings him glory.

What he did for us,

we'll share our story.

 

I'M SO THANKFUL

 

I'm so thankful,

where do I begin.

Jesus died for me,

for all my sins.

He took my place,

just like he planned.

Nobody else can do,

what Jesus can.

I'm so thankful,

I've been blessed.

Whether it's plenty,

or even less.

But most important,

I have a Savior.

Jesus has helped me,

more than ever.

I'm so thankful,

for family and friends.

And all the opportunities,

that God sends.

I have good health,

and money to pay bills.

He provides all my needs,

according to his will.

I'm so thankful,

for food and provisions.

A nice place to live,

and also God's protection.

To know God's word,

helps me even more.

And that's even better,

than what I was praying for.

CARE OF WIDOWS

 

There are many widows,

of men and women.

You may not know them,

but they're alone again.

With illness or disability,

they all face loneliness.

They wait for someone,

they sure do miss.

But not a phone call,

no knock on the door.

Not even the ones,

they were looking for.

Depression creeps in,

then along comes fear.

They're hope slowly fades,

when no one is there.

YOU CAN VISIT A WIDOW,

AND BRING YOUR SMILE.

BE QUICK TO LISTEN,

AND STAY FOR AWHILE.

LOVE CAN BE SHOWN,

IN SO MANY WAYS.

LET'S FIND SOMEONE,

TO BRIGHTEN THEIR DAYS.

There are many people,

who lost their loved one.

They depend on others,

and hope to see someone.

The visits become rare,

all they see is a TV.

They have stories to share,

if they had company.

But no one in sight,

lonely days and night.

The tears they weep,

they can't even sleep.

With sickness or pain,

they're hopelessness remain.

Just four walls in the room,

a sure recipe for gloom.

YOU CAN VISIT A WIDOW,

LOVE CAN BE SHOWN,

IN SO MANY WAYS.

LET'S FIND SOMEONE,

TO BRIGHTEN THEIR DAYS.

FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT

 

For a good tree,

it's recognized by it's fruit.

For a follower of Jesus,

it's by the fruit of the Spirit.

Just like the branch,

can't live without the vine.

We can't be fruitful,

without the nine.

It begins with love,

and joy will be there too.

There's peace you'll find,

and also they'll be kind.

Patience will be shown.

and gentleness will be known.

We will also witness,

if there's any goodness.

Faithfulness is vital,

and even self-control.

So what we view,

is the good they do.

For any bad fruit,

they will be thrown.

So we live in the Spirit,

and not on our own.

COME TO JESUS

 

Time is fleeting,

tomorrow we may not see.

We all need Jesus,

who can set us free.

So we seek him,

and know he's rich in mercy.

And he's here,

 here with you and me.

COME TO JESUS,

COME ALL WHO BELIEVE.

THERE'S FORGIVENESS AND GRACE,

WE WILL RECEIVE.

LISTEN FOR HIS VOICE, 

JESUS IS CALLING.

CALLING FOR YOU AND ME.

We may plan ahead, 

but tomorrow is not guaranteed.

We all need Jesus,

so faith is the key.

There's no time to delay,

this life is ending.

Jesus is waiting,

waiting for you and me.

COME TO JESUS,

COME ALL WHO BELIEVE.

THERE'S FORGIVENESS AND GRACE,

WE WILL RECEIVE.

LISTEN FOR HIS VOICE,

JESUS IS CALLING,

CALLING FOR YOU AND ME.

TRIALS WE FACE

 

I lived a life,

with a future unknown.

With no set of goals,

and life on my own.

Then I discovered the bible,

it revealed to me.

Rely on the Lord,

and include him in everything.

And what a journey,

I have been through.

I was never alone,

God was there too.

I struggled with doubts,

when life looked grim.

In the midst of all this,

I still trust him.

Even though I suffered,

my life took a turn.

It was during this time,

that I would learn.

What God had allowed,

I use it as a reminder.

The trials I face,

it produces character.

And not only that,

it produces perseverance.

I drew closer to God,

with new found assurance.

I abide in him,

and he's my provider.

And here I am,

I'm stronger than ever.

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT

 

There's more to your story,

your life didn't end.

You still have a purpose,

that means you try again.

Before you get started,

there's something you should do.

Go ahead and pray, 

God will help you.

And don't look back,

what happened back then.

Set yourself a goal,

include God in your plan.

Commit to the Lord,

and you discover that.

God will be there,

to direct your path.

And don't be surprised,

if there's any delay.

It's done in God's time,

it may not be today.

But you can be sure,

he's never too late.

Your prayer will be answered,

so be patient and wait.

HEAVEN

 

I'm ready to go,

a place prepared for me.

Heaven is my destination,

that's where I'll be.

In presence of God, 

I can't wait to see.

Thanks to Jesus Christ,

who set me free.

I'm ready to go,

a place beyond the sky.

Where love and peace exist,

no tears to cry.

In presence of angels,

and feel eternal bliss.

There's nothing on earth,

that's better than this.

I'm ready to go,

my new home for eternity,

Where our sovereign King,

is seen in his glory.

In presence of family,

we're all gathered together.

To worship the Lord,

and love for each other.

GOD'S PURPOSE FOR ME

 

God put me here,

with a purpose in mind.

His plan will unfold,

that he designed.

A God given mission,

that's assigned to me.

To do good works,

wherever it may be.

It may not be,

a role Moses had.

To lead the Israelites,

to the promise land.

Or be like Solomon,

who became a king.

But I surely believe,

God has a role for me.

It may not be,

what Elijah did.

Or have a role, 

God gave to David.

Wherever God sends me,

that's where I'll go.

To fulfill my purpose,

that is my goal.

ABIDE IN HIM

 

It took me many years,

before I realized.

God didn't create me,

just to survive.

So now I know,

as long as I'm alive.

It's God's will,

for me to thrive.

It took some time,

to give up my ways.

And serve the Lord,

rest of my days.

Instead of my desires,

that was done in vain.

I live for the Lord,

it's eternal life I gain.

It was a matter of time,

that I would know.

By reading God's word,

my knowledge would grow.

I would be fruitful,

and abide in him.

And only God's desire,

would flow within.

JESUS SAVED ME

 

No more searching,

no more wandering.

No more darkness,

no more sadness.

I found my Savior,

he had been waiting.

For me to seek him,

so I started praying.

I came before him,

and I repented,

For sins I committed,

and I was forgiven.

It was my Savior,

who set me free.

Now the Holy Spirit,

resides in me.

I'm born again, 

old self is gone.

No slave to sin,

no heart of stone.

I'm so happy,

that Jesus saved me.

So now I'm living,

for my Savior.

SAY A PRAYER

 

Take it to the Lord,

and say a prayer.

Tell him how you feel,

he really does care.

Make your requests known,

tell him every detail.

Help is on the way,

he will never fail.

Take it to the Lord,

he's our heavenly Father.

He's bigger than your problems,

there's no one greater.

Every time you pray,

give thanks to the Lord.

He will listen to you, 

like he said in his word.

Take it to the Lord,

he's always with you.

Go ahead and ask him,

what you need to do.

He knows everything,

especially what's ahead.

Spend time with him,

believe what he said.

OBEY GOD'S WORD

 

There's people in the bible,

who succeeded or failed.

Some were always faithful,

while others disobeyed.

Our actions have consequences,

so we obey then.

We have a free will,

but it's wrong to sin.

There's choices we make,

we feel it's right.

If it's against God's word,

then it's not alright.

We need to be careful,

in what we do.

When the bible says it's wrong,

it's a sin in God's view.

And God is faithful,

in what he said.

No matter what others say,

we listen to God instead.

So one thing that matters,

we need to learn.

What God has spoken,

we obey his word.
