THE TRUTH

 

Let the truth be told,

Jesus is the one.

There's no other way,

it's only through God's Son. 

Let's share the message,

so everyone can hear.

Seek the Lord now,

while he is near.

Let it be known,

repent of your sins.

It's the very moment,

when salvation begins.

They're life will change, 

they'll be made new.

That's what Jesus does,

and more he'll do.

Let's share the news,

before it's too late.

Talk about God's grace,

and his love is great.

If they hear God's word,

they'll know the truth.

Jesus died on the cross,

so they can be saved too.

DIRECTED BY THE LORD

 

There was this lady,

I had a pleasure to meet.

Who became my mentor,

at a prayer retreat.

I joined the group,

and she was my teacher.

I followed her lead,

and became a church member.

My Christian life began,

and my spiritual life grew.

Directed by the Lord,

and his help too.

By reading God's Word, 

I became a believer.

And with my commitment,

I became his follower.

When the church closed,

then it was clear.

There was a new path,

God would lead me there.

So here I am, 

I help out the elderly.

And I do this,

to bring God the glory.

VIEW GOD CORRECTLY

 

Yes, God is love,

but he's also just.

He provided us commandments,

so obedience is a must.

Yes, God is merciful,

to those who sin.

But we must repent,

in order to be forgiven.

Yes, God is full of grace,

an unmerited favor.

But we must seek Jesus,

as Lord and Savior.

Yes, God hears our prayers,

we should expect an answer.

But according to his will, 

there's no way other.

Yes, God is a healer,

but he says No at times.

God knows what's best,

when we ask why.

Yes, God blesses us,

but we should not be forgetful.

We should tell God,

that we are thankful. 

HOW WE COPE

 

They're places to go,

and I'm running late.

I'm trying to stay calm,

but it's not looking great.

I'm caught in a traffic,

that remains still.

In my moment of anxiety,

I remember God's will.

WE FACE THIS MOMENT,

FIXED ON THE LORD.

WE RENEW OUR MIND, 

BASED ON GOD'S WORD.

WE PRAY TO THE LORD,

BECAUSE HE'S OUR HOPE.

HE WILL HELP US,

THIS IS HOW WE COPE.

Anytime I worry,

I pick up my pace.

I keep my mind busy,

so I don't have to face.

The hard times ahead,

I like to forget.

This is the time,

to have the right mindset.

WE FACE THIS MOMENT,

FIXED ON THE LORD.

WE RENEW OUR MIND,

BASED ON GOD'S WORD.

WE PRAY TO THE LORD,

BECAUSE HE'S OUR HOPE.

HE WILL HELP US,

THIS IS HOW WE COPE. 

OUR LIFE

 

Our life can bring a change,

without any notice.

It can be the darkest time,

but we can overcome this.

Because in our setback,

it can certainly help us.

It can draw us closer,

to our Savior Jesus.

We reach out to him,

and let our prayers be known.

So we rely on him,

and never do it alone.

Our life can bring us despair,

but never without his presence.

We may not see his purpose,

but it can produce endurance.

Our life can show our weakness,

especially in times of trouble.

God will provide us strength,

if we seek him in our struggle.

Our life has it's moments,

that brings us happiness.

So we thank the Lord,

in all circumstances. 

IT'S GOD'S PROMISE

 

It's in the news,

it's all around us.

What can be done,

who can we trust?

Love has grown cold,

families are split apart.

How can we get along,

when there's hate in our heart?

Even in churches,

where the bible isn't taught.

Now they say wrong is right,

and they have evil thoughts.

Throughout the history,

the world has changed.

But one thing remains,

God's word stays the same.

God said, "if my people,"

"who are called by my name."

"Will humble themselves,"

"seek him and pray."

"Turn from their wicked ways,"

"I will forgive their sin."

This will surely happen,

if we do what he said. 

LET IT BE KNOWN

 

Let the peace of God,

which surpasses all understanding.

Reign in our heart,

and our inmost being.

Let the love of God,

fill our heart and soul.

And we love him,

is our number one goal.

Let the mercy of God,

which is new every morning.

Be our daily reminder,

that God is forgiving.

Let the grace of God,

his unmerited favor.

Be known to all,

it's through our Savior.

Let the light of God,

be ever present.

So in all we do,

we give God credit.

Let the Word of God,

dwell in us richly,

Our life depends on it,

so it's important in knowing.

LET THEM LIVE

 

His name was John,

a human like me.

He had a mom,

before the tragedy.

He didn't get to live,

like you and I.

When his mom chose,

to let him die.

In his mother's womb,

God formed each part.

There's flesh and blood,

and his beating heart.

Thou shall not kill,

it is God's command.

He created us all,

every woman and man.

Her name was Jane,

she had a mom too.

Woven in her mother's womb,

like me and you.

Jane's life was cut short,

her own mom let her die.

Even though God created her,

the scriptures don't lie.

God knew Jane,

and also the circumstance.

He had a plan,

so she deserved a chance.

My belief will not waver,

to what is true.

Because it's God's word,

you should believe it too.

READ THE BIBLE

 

Beware of false teaching,

they'll steer you away.

They will tell you,

do it your own way.

But that's contrary,

to what's in the Bible.

We can be sure, 

that God's Word is reliable.

Beware what they say,

it may appeal to you.

It may seem right,

in what they do.

If you let your desires,

disregard what is true.

Then your own feelings,

are betraying you too.

The Bible makes it clear,

what God did say.

So we all know,

it's for us to obey.

It's time to read it,

if only we would try.

So we know the truth,

and ignore their lie.

EVIDENCE IS THERE

 

The skies proclaim,

the work of his hands.

They reveal knowledge,

so we can understand.

God is the creator,

he had it all planned.

Everything has a purpose,

that includes woman and man.

It was God who created.

every planet and star.

The earth and moon,

and everything from afar.

Every mountain and valley,

the hills and trees.

Every creature on the ground,

even ones in the seas.

So the truth is,

there's nothing to debate.

We should thank God,

for what he did create.

They pour forth speech,

both day and night.

The evidence is there,

all in plain sight.

THE GREAT COMMISSION

 

How will they believe,

if they don't know?

How can they commit,

if we don't tell them so?

How can they be saved,

if we don't encourage them?

If we don't take part,

what can they do then?

Jesus made it clear,

we have a task to do.

If we are Christians,

there is this truth.

We are all called,

on this great commission.

We are God's messengers,

so we have this mission.

We should embrace this role,

as Jesus follower.

So what we say and do,

points to our Savior.

We should be ready,

with everyone we meet.

To share the news.

until our mission is complete. 

THERE IS HOPE

 

I never knew the feelings,

that she held inside.

Until they told me,

the reason why she died.

The Lord only knew,

what she tried to hide.

The constant struggles,

that troubled her mind.

I've been on a mission,

since she passed away.

To find anyone else, 

with this message today.

Yes, we have setbacks,

that may seem daunting.

But we remind ourselves,

not to give up trying.

Amid all our troubles,

we find there's hope.

We call on the Lord,

he's there to help.

We were never meant,

to do this on our own.

Reach out to Jesus,

let your prayers be known.

IT'S THE WAY TO LIVE

 

Imagine how it would be,

if we put God's will first.

We follow God's way,

instead of our own interest.

When we choose to partake,

for the people's sake.

The things we do,

the impact we can make.

When we help one another,

and care for each other.

We do it with love,

there's no way better.

With passion and desire,

that comes from our soul.

The purpose to please God,

that should be our goal.

When we do all this,

we do it for the Lord.

It's the way to live,

that's what we were created for.
