DO WHAT GOD SAID

 

I was sitting on my recliner,

I was listening to the radio.

I heard a preacher tell me,

something I needed to know.

Even though I was familiar,

with the scripture he quoted.

It was a reminder,

what God had spoken.

"If it is possible,

as far as it depends on you."

"Live at peace with everyone,"

that's what I need to do.

So without any hesitation,

I headed out the door.

I took a trip,

I should have done before.

And there I was,

I stood face to face.

To someone who hurt me,

I forgave and we embraced.

The moral of this story,

do not be misled.

What the scripture say,

we do what God said.

A MATTER OF RECONCILATION

 

We may have ill feelings,

toward a family member.

The tensions can linger,

that we can't get over.

Our emotions play a factor,

that affect our relationship.

We need to be careful,

how we approach this situation.

Any anger we display,

is not what God desires.

We put an effort to restore,

and put out the fire.

So we face our dilemma,

in matter of reconciliation.

 And we exhibit love,

in our communication.

Forgiveness is essential,

that we should obtain.

Since God forgave us,

we do the same.

We approach this moment,

with kindness and humility.

And with God's help,

there's peace and unity.

WORDS TO PONDER

 

In any good relationship,

there's love for one another.

But when there's a disagreement,

there's a problem we can encounter.

Each one can take a stance,

and react in a bad manner.

If we're not careful,

it'll get worse than ever.

There will be times,

we face some friction.

We can always try,

to find a solution.

The way to start,

we do our part.

We look at ourselves,

what's in our heart.

Don't stoke the fire,

and release any anger.

There are many ways,

to settle the matter.

If the conflict continues,

there's never a winner.

It takes both sides,

to make it better.

NEW CHAPTER IN LIFE

 

   There is a book titled, 

"THE BOOK OF LIFE"

Inside this book you'll find,

every word we said.

No matter if the words,

 were good or bad, 

 We cannot change it,

 or even erase it.

As long as we're alive,

the story isn't over.

There's a new chapter titled,

A NEW BEGINNING"

We start on a new page,

that is called today.

The page is empty,

that needs to be filled.
