THESE ARE MY THOUGHTS

 

There's a song in my heart,

I sing to the Lord.

How awesome he is,

I convey in my words.

I use my joyful voice,

to glorify and praise him.

With reverence and awe,

every time I sing it.

There's a prayer I say,

on every occasion.

To a gracious God,

who is full of compassion.

I give thanks to him,

for his grace and mercy.

And what he's provided,

so I lack nothing.

There's a feeling inside of me,

nothing like this before.

To draw closer to God,

and to know him more.

I want to embrace and feel,

God's great love for me.

These are my thoughts,

to a God who is amazing.  

WHERE HOPE IS FOUND

 

If we're dealing with loss,

health or any trouble.

If we worry or fear,

and we continue to struggle.

It can be overwhelming,

that affects our soul,

If we continue this pattern,

we lose sight of our goal.

WE KEEP OUR FOCUS,

WHERE HOPE IS FOUND.

IT IS THE LORD,

WE CAN DEPEND ON.

WE TRUST IN HIM,

WHO WILL HELP US.

HE GAVE HIS PROMISE,

SO WE CAN SAY THIS.

We carry our burdens,

and find no rest.

We're emotionally drained,

and we're all stressed.

When we have these moments,

it may seem daunting.

There's something we can do,

we can start praying.

WE KEEP OUR FOCUS,

WHERE HOPE IS FOUND.

IT IS THE LORD,

WE CAN DEPEND ON.

WE TRUST IN HIM,

WHO WILL HELP US.

HE GAVE HIS PROMISE,

SO WE CAN SAY THIS. 

ZEAL FOR GOD

 

Serve God with zeal,

like we were created for.

To do good works,

for our Savior Lord.

With the Lord's guidance,

we can make an impact.

It can be something big,

or even a small act.

God presents the opportunities,

so we can be a blessing.

So any good deed we do,

the people will receive.

Not only the help,

but the knowledge they gain.

What we do for the Lord,

is never done in vain.

It's important to know,

what God planned for us.

He provides the strength,

so we can do this.

Let our spiritual fervor,

never wane or fade.

So all that we do,

God will be praised.

LOVE IS THE ANSWER

 

What God tells us to do,

is something we're capable of.

Be kind to others,

and also show love.

Hate is not an option,

it tears us apart.

Love brings us together,

it touches our heart.

We find no love, 

when there is bitterness.

There is no love,

when there's no forgiveness.

We have a free will,

but there are consequences.

We have a choice,

in all circumstances.

There's only one option,

on this important matter.

We should all agree, 

love is the answer.

Remember it's a commandment,

according to God's Word.

When we choose love,

we obey the Lord.
