WHEN WE WORSHIP GOD

 

When we worship God,

we exult him above all things.

With adoration to the Lord,

is what we bring.

It goes beyond the music,

and the songs we sing.

Our devotion to God,

the one who created everything.

When we worship God,

it's more than on Sunday.

We glorify and honor him,

we praise him every day.

The ruler of all things,

we acknowledge his sovereignty.

For his infinite love,

and he's rich in mercy.

When we worship God,

we proclaim his holiness.

Thankful for what he's done,

great is his faithfulness.

The heart of the matter,

we come humbly before him.

With reverence and awe,

that's when worship begins.

WE OBEY GOD

 

Is there any bad feelings,

that we're holding back?

Like bearing a grudge,

or even worse than that.

These feelings we have,

toward someone else.

It's against God's will,

it's important to know this.

WHAT GOD TELLS US,

WE GO AND DO IT.

IT'S PROOF WE OBEY GOD,

WHEN WE LISTEN TO HIM.

WE SHOULD ALWAYS FORGIVE,

AND WE MAKE AMENDS.

IF WE LOVE GOD, 

WE FOLLOW HIS COMMANDS.

There will be times,

someone will hurt us.

What God calls us to do,

we should not dismiss.

The Bible reminds us,

to what God said.

It's not revenge we want,

we forgive instead.

WHAT GOD TELLS US,

WE GO AND DO IT.

IT'S PROOF WE OBEY GOD,

WHEN WE LISTEN TO HIM.

WE SHOULD ALWAYS FORGIVE,

AND WE MAKE AMENDS.

IF WE LOVE GOD,

WE FOLLOW HIS COMMANDS.

MY DAILY EXPERIENCE

 

I woke up this morning,

I said goodbye to yesterday.

So my focus now, 

I live for today.

I won't waste time,

for anything in the past.

I have this moment,

even this will not last.

God's purpose for me,

he has already planned.

Whatever it may be,

I'll do the best I can.

I count on the Lord,

to direct my path.

He provides for me,

so there's nothing I lack.

God provides the guidance,

through his Holy Spirit.

So with any opportunities,

I seize the moment.

God will help me,

which is a guarantee.

This is my daily experience,

what God does for me.

WHEN GOD IS INVOLVED

 

God has a purpose, 

for all his people.

God even has plans,

 for this elderly couple.

They have a weakness,

they have a disability.

They rely on God's power,

not their own ability.

God works through them,

so everyone can see.

They help many people,

that included me.

The impact they make,

by their words and action.

I witness first hand,

good things happen.

This experience reminds me,

God's point of view.

It's not if I can,

but what God can do.

When God is involved,

and we rely on him.

We can do the same,

like the couple did.

GOD IS OUR PROVIDER

 

When we're grief stricken,

and shed those tears.

It can consume us,

with worries and fears.

These times of uncertainty,

we are not alone.

God is with us, 

no matter where we go.

God is fully aware,

of our situation.

By our faith alone, 

we have this revelation.

We know God's Word,

when we pray again.

We wait for the Lord,

when it all begins.

We have this assurance,

his promises as a reminder.

He is Lord of all,

he is our provider.

With this joyful hope,

we may not know when.

But when it happens,

we thank God then. 

MY SPIRITUAL JOURNEY

 

My spiritual journey continues,

I know what to expect.

God has it all prepared, 

I know it's a fact.

For I am God's handiwork,

created in Christ Jesus.

To do good works,

so I'm ready to do this.

The task he gives me,

could be simple or complicated.

God promised to help me,

that keeps me motivated.

My actions and my words,

reflect on whom I serve.

So the people glorify God,

what they have seen and heard.

With this in mind,

and my focus on the Lord.

I pray to him,

and meditate on his Word.

And there's nine words,

I repeat every day.

It's according to God's will,

and done his way.

WHAT GOD PLANNED

 

Nothing can separate us,

from God's love.

But our sin he can't ignore,

our works is not enough.

So what God planned,

back in the beginning.

He's still working on us,

even when we're sinning.

We have this hope,

it's in God's Word.

The way to Salvation,

is through our Savior Lord.

He's patient with us,

not wanting anyone to perish.

He continues to reach out,

through his Son Jesus.

God showed his mercy, 

also his amazing grace.

The punishment we deserved,

Jesus took our place.

There's no way to earn it,

but it's a gift to us.

So we are forgiven,

the moment of our repentance. 

BRIGHTER DAYS ARE COMING

 

Brighter days are coming,

it's hard to foresee.

When there's pain and suffering,

that's in front of me.

There are death and destruction,

troubles all around us.

There's so much evil,

who can we trust.

There are many homeless,

and people who are hungry.

Families split apart,

when they can't agree.

The Bible reminds us,

the end is coming soon.

We do not lose heart,

and think we're doomed.

There will be peace,

the moment Jesus appears.

There will be no more death,

and no more tears.

He'll restore everything.

the way it should be.

Brighter days are coming,

it'll last for an eternity.
