I know a friend,
who's always on the go.
He takes a trip,
to a place I know.
It's the Senior Center,
where he volunteers.
It's every Tuesday,
you find him there.
I know a friend,
who found his calling.
He delivers meals,
every Wednesday morning.
The task may be easy.
but it's a blessing.
He brings the food,
to those who are hungry.
I know many others,
who take on a task.
They're ready to help,
when someone asks.
There are many ways,
they help someone.
Volunteers play a role,
an important one.
