PLACE CALLED HEAVEN

 

No more death or grave,

no more tears to shed.

No more worries or fears,

we know what's ahead.

No more needs or desires,

no more division or hate.

No more darkness or sadness,

our new home will be great.

No more problems or troubles,

no more sorrow or pain.

No more bitterness or jealously,

only love will remain.

No more stress or burdens.

that filled our day.

No more grieving or illness,

it will pass away.

So we patiently wait,

for Jesus to return.

That day will come,

we know by his word.

We have this assurance,

Jesus will come again.

He'll take us home,

to a place called heaven.

There's a time of joy,

you want it to last.

But then someone dies,

it's now in the past.

So it's a time of grief,

you face the unknown.

The doubt creeps in.

and now you're alone.

LIKE THE BIBLE PROCLAIMS.

BUT WE ALL KNOW,

GOD IS STILL THE SAME.

GOD IS STILL WORKING,

SO RESIST ANY DOUBT.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER,

HE WILL WORK IT OUT.

    There's a time of love,

with family and friends.

But then there's dissension,

and the bickering begins.

So it's a time of conflict,

that now you're in.

The feud continues,

and there's no end.

BUT WE ALL KNOW,

GOD IS STILL THE SAME.

GOD IS STILL WORKING,

SO RESIST ANY DOUBT.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER,

There's a time of wealth,

that you long desired.

But then illness strikes,

and surgery is required.

So it's a time you dread,

your health was taken.

Your anxiety kicks in,

your emotions are shaken.

BUT WE ALL KNOW,

GOD IS STILL THE SAME.

GOD IS STILL WORKING,

SO RESIST ANY DOUBT.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER,

Where do I go?

just show me where.

So wherever I am,

you'll always be there.

I have a purpose,

I have no doubt.

Whatever it may be,

you'll help me out.

You have chosen me,

to accomplish this plan.

I am ready to go,

I'll obey your command.

So anything you say,

that I need to do.

I'll give you my best,

so I honor you.

I have a task,

whether large or small.

Whatever you decide,

it is your call.

So it's very important,

that everyone will see.

That my good deeds,

it's you working through me.

So they take notice,

wonder if they could.

Be part of this,

and do something good.

And they serve you,

and also glorify thee.

Because it's about you,

the way it should be.

DO SOMETHING GOOD

 

When you do something good,

like a thoughtful deed.

You brighten their day,

and plant a seed.

It begins to sprout,

that's filled with hope.

You lighten their burden,

and it's easier to cope.

When you do something good,

like come to their aid.

It's always a choice,

you're glad you made.

Say words of comfort,

even a hug can do.

You let them know,

they are special too.

When you do something good,

you want to do more.

Even a little thing,

like open a door.

You're eager to visit,

you're willing to share.

You're waiting for the call,

you want to be there.

When you do something good,

like any time you listen.

The stories they tell you,

of their times back then.

It brings them joy,

and they're happy again.

It's moments like this,

you want to be in.
