FROM THIS MOMENT

 

The word of God,

is within my heart.

I treasure his words, 

so they never depart.

They keep me going,

during trials I bare.

So I never forget,

to say a prayer.

I begin each day,

to renew my mind.

There's always a verse,

that I will find.

God speaks to me,

with words to remind.

He's here to help,

when I'm in a bind.

I may not know,

what I face today.

But my savior Lord,

will lead the way.

So when the time comes,

the battle I'm in.

I choose this moment,

to trust in him.

My choices really matter,

so I remember this.

I want my desires,

to always reflect his.

So from this moment,

a promise I can say.

To do God's will,

and to love and obey.

WHEN JESUS CAME

 

He came at night,

it was a beautiful sight.

With the angels singing,

to our Savior and King.

It was that night,

that Jesus was born.

To save us all,

from the painful scorn.

At the age of thirty,

he gave us the good news.

So all would know,

what we had to do.

He taught us to love God,

and to love everyone.

And he came down,

to show how it's done.

He died on the cross,

for you and me.

He rose from the dead,

to set us free.

We honor our Savior,

he's our hope today.

We thank the Lord,

and praise him every day.

IT'S NOT OVER

 

When troubles and burdens,

that come your way.

It's easy to get down,

and give up today.

You get discouraged,

you made a mistake.

You failed again,

with so much at stake.

You're life is not over,

a new day has begun.

You get back up,

and show everyone.

God will help you,

on problems you face.

Wait patiently for him,

soon it'll take place.

There will be times,

it will be tough.

The road you take,

can also be rough.

God is greater,

than what you're going through.

Therefore he is able,

what he promised to do.

No matter what happens,

know this very thing.

Do not be anxious,

or worry about anything.

Soon you will see,

good times are ahead.

Stay focused on God,

and the words he said.

WHAT'S IN THE BIBLE

 

Read about Moses and Joshua,

who carried out God's plan.

To lead all the Israelites,

into the Promised Land.

Read about the prophets,

who revealed what God said.

There's also false teachers,

who chose to deceive instead.

There's fishermen and shepherds,

and even some spies.

Read about wise men and fools,

and a serpent who told lies.

People saw miracles and visions,

and even had dreams.

There's also kings and queens,

who plotted evil schemes.

Read about the many battles,

between the evil and good.

Jesus came to save the lost,

the only one who could.

These stories are not fiction,

they are all true.

It's the words from God,

and it was written for you.

I CAN LIVE AGAIN

 

I was falsely accused,

and no one believed me.

My life was ruined,

there was no one to see.

So many sleepless nights,

and tears that I cried.

I seen how cruel evil was,

and wished that I died.

YESTERDAY IS GONE,

IT'S NOW A CLOSED DOOR.

THOSE DAYS HAVE PAST,

I'M NOT THERE ANYMORE.

IT'S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE,

TO WHERE I'VE BEEN.

I HAVE A NEW DAY,

I CAN LIVE AGAIN!

There was no support,

that was the hardest part.

It took a toll on me,

and shattered my heart.

Fear pierced my soul,

and filled my mind.

It's hard to let go,

and leave my past behind.

YESTERDAY IS GONE,

IT'S NOW A CLOSED DOOR.

THOSE DAYS HAVE PAST,

I'M NOT THERE ANYMORE.

IT'S TIME TO SAY GOODBYE,

TO WHERE I'VE BEEN.

I HAVE A NEW DAY,

LOVE

 

When there is love,

we see it in action.

It displays compassion,

and it shows affection.

It's always patient,

it shows they care.

And love always means,

that God is there.

Love always protects,

love is strong.

Love never keeps,

no record of wrong.

Love is gentle,

love means giving.

Love always means,

they're always forgiving.

With all these virtues,

love is the key.

Put it all together,

and you get unity.

WE LIVE FOR JESUS

 

When we get up,

we're ready to start.

We approach this day,

with an open heart.

We read the bible,

and pray every day.

We live for Jesus,

that's our goal today.

We honor our Savior,

in all we do.

We glorify the Lord,

in what we say too.

We follow his ways,

we obey his commands.

We do God's will,

whatever he planned.

We're servant of the Lord,

with bible in hand.

We preach the message,

of the Promised Land.

We thank the Lord,

every time we can.

We wait for the day,

when he comes again.

WORDS TO REMEMBER

 

There are three words,

that you can say.

That will bring joy,

to someone each day.

The best three words,

you will ever know.

Believe in these words,

and let it show.

The power of these words,

we may not always see.

But it can touch the heart,

of someone close to thee.

It can create a feeling,

that's precious to our heart.

Strengthen the bond,

no one can take apart.

We leave our mark,

on each word we say.

Words that will affect,

the ones we see today.

So the best thing,

you can say or do.

Say these three words,

I LOVE YOU!

PROMISES OF GOD

 

I don't know why,

I'm going through this.

But one thing I know,

my ways are not his.

So I pray continually,

and I patiently wait.

I know for certain,

what he does is great.

The promises of God,

it's proven to be true.

So I rely on him,

on what he will do.

It may seem long,

 and I may be weak.

But his ways are perfect,

so that's what I seek.

I don't know when,

my afflictions will end.

But one thing I know,

I'll pray again.

I'm in his presence, 

in time of despair.

So I am assured,

he hears my prayer.

The promises of God,

I know what he said.

His words comfort me,

so I look ahead,

The plans of the Lord,

becomes my story.

So in the end,

I give God the glory. 

MY CALLING

 

I pray I get to see,

the calling I can claim.

With all my heart and soul,

I ask you in your name.

No matter what you have,

I'm ready to go.

With passion and desire,

and willingness to grow.

I put my trust in you,

what the calling will be.

The future plan you have,

the mission you give to me.

I won't forget my part,

to give you thanks and praise.

I promise to serve  you,

the rest of my days.

LET'S MAKE IT BETTER

 

Share a little laughter.

Stay a little longer.

Become a cheerful giver.

We can make it better.

Do a thoughtful deed.

For someone in need.

So don't hold back.

Give what they lack.

Visit a lonely man.

Lend a helping hand.

Even a phone call.

No deed is small.

Whatever we can do.

Our words matter too.

Imagine what we say.

Can brighten their day.

There's always a way.

To do good today.

So do it with love.

With help from God above. 

PRAY WITHOUT CEASING

 

Pray without ceasing, watch what God will do.

Believe what God said, he has plans for you.

Think about his grace and abounding in love.

He'll pour out blessings, it'll be more than enough.

That's just the beginning, wait for his Holy Spirit.

He's going to guide you, you're going to make it.

It's done in God's time, hold on a bit longer.

God is not finished, your days will get better.

Pray without ceasing, he's not forgotten you.

Every promise God made, he's going to do.

Prayer must be in line, according to his will.

His timing is never late, you just wait until.

Surely he'll help you, it's done in God's way.

For the glory and honor, he deserves every day.

So trust in the Lord, his ways are great.

Draw closer to him, while you patiently wait.

DEAR JESUS

 

I look at myself, I see I'm a sinner.

With self-pleasing pride and not a cheerful giver.

My thoughts and feelings, was all I knew.

Now I deny myself and I pray to you.

FORGIVE ME LORD, FOR THE WRONG I'VE DONE.

I NEED A SAVIOR AND YOU'RE THE ONE.

I CAN'T DO THIS ALONE, NOR DO I WANT TO TRY.

FROM THIS MOMENT NOW, IT'S ABOUT YOU NOT I.

I'm filled with shame, I was living in sin.

I was consumed with hatred and I sinned again.

I claimed I was a Christian, I didn't show it.

I had a sinful nature, now I admit it.

FORGIVE ME LORD, FOR THE WRONG I'VE DONE.

I NEED A SAVIOR AND YOU'RE THE ONE.

I CAN'T DO THIS ALONE, NOR DO I WANT TO TRY.

FROM THIS MOMENT NOW, IT'S ABOUT YOU NOT I.

I'm blinded from my eyes, I'm lost like a sheep.

I'm stubborn like a mule, I sow what I reap.

I can't change my past, tomorrow is not guaranteed.

What I have is today, and it's you I need.

FORGIVE ME LORD, FOR THE WRONG I'VE DONE.

I NEED A SAVIOR AND YOU'RE THE ONE.

I CAN'T DO THIS ALONE, NOR DO I WANT TO TRY.

HE'S WORTHY OF PRAISE

 

There's so many things,

I'm thankful for.

God's mercy and grace,

and so much more.

He's abounding in love,

he's faithful too.

He changed my life,

he made me new.

Every time I praise,

my Savior and King.

I thank the Lord,

what he's done for me.

He died on the cross,

he set me free.

Now he blesses me,

with every good thing.

Every time I pray,

I'm on my knees.

I come before Jesus,

I make this plea.

Where do I go,

what can I do?

Show me the way,

and I'll serve you.

Every time I sing,

I stand and rejoice.

I worship my Savior,

with my joyful noise.

I give glory to God,

he's worthy of praise.

I'll obey the Lord,

the rest of my days.

MY PRAYER AND SONG

 

I pray to you, I sing to you.

With all I have and do.

That on this day, the prayer I say.

That you Oh God, would teach me your way.

With your amazing grace and your loving care.

You told us all, you're always there.

To do the things, you promised to do.

And now we know, it's all true.

I pray to you, I sing to you.

With all I have and do.

That you Oh God, would hear this prayer.

To direct my path, just show me where.

With my open eyes and hands in bind.

With a lonely heart and peace to find.

With song and prayer, to sing and pray.

I ask you Lord, for your help today.

it's still true today.

How will you know,

who God really is?

God created everything,

just like a stage.

We're all in it,

God has a plan.

There's a purpose,

for every woman and man.

Read the whole scripture,

what does it mean?

It's more than words,

it's about God's love.

A message about salvation,

you can be part of.

So read God's word,

keep it in your mind.

It's the only book,

where you'll always find.

God is with you,

especially in time of need.

SUNDAY MORNING

 

When Sunday morning arrives,

we hear the bells ring.

We're going to church,

with our offerings we bring.

We come to worship,

in our heart spoken praise.

To our Savior Jesus,

our voices we will raise.

WE BRING IN OUR FAMILY,

WE BRING IN OUR FRIENDS.

WE SHALL COME REJOICING,

IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD.

WE CALL ON OUR NEIGHBORS,

AND INVITE THEM ALL.

WE JOIN THE CHOIR,

TO SING IN ONE ACCORD.

I wear my Sunday best,

and go where I belong.

I feel the Lord's presence,

when I sing along.

I'm filled with joy,

in everything that I've heard.

FINISH THE RACE

 

You're tired and weary, 

it's taking a toll.

You thought life was easy, 

like taking a stroll.

You certainly found out, 

it's harder than you think.

Don't get down on yourself,

 and let your hopes sink.

It's time you know, 

you'll get through this.

It begins with God,

 and how great he is.

With the help of God, 

and his amazing grace.

He provides what you need, 

to finish the race.

God doesn't expect you, 

to do this alone.

There's a purpose for you, 

you're not on your own.

Before you were born, 

God already knew you.

He had a plan, 

just for you to do.

You need the Lord, 

to direct your path.

So rely on God, 

and don't look back.

With the help of God, 

and his amazing grace.

He provides what you need, 

to finish the race.

SOMEONE WHO CARES

 

There is someone who knows you,

and someone who cares.

That someone is Jesus, 

who is always there.

He loves you so much,

that he died for you.

He has risen again,

now to help you too.

There's someone who you need,

and you can't do without.

That someone is Jesus, 

that's who we're preaching about.

He took our place,

and paid for our sin.

He's our only Savior,

there's no one like him.

There's someone who's our redeemer,

and also our healer.

That someone is Jesus,

who's more than our teacher.

God's plan for salvation,

is only through his Son.

It's all in the bible,

read what he's done.

There's someone who's our King,

and prince of peace.

That someone is Jesus,

his kingdom will never cease.

He seeks the lost

and wandering still.

He intercedes for us,

to do God's will.

I REMEMBER LORD

 

I saw my life, it moved slowly past.

I was not sure, if I would even last.

I searched for someone, I didn't know then.

Then I found you Lord and I remember when.

I remember a moment and you were there.

You healed my skin, when you heard my prayer.

When I look back, what you did before.

It was more than I was praying for.

I remember a moment and you were there.

I lost my job, so I said a prayer.

You gave me a task that I could do.

In a public setting, where I could serve you.

In my darkest moment, I lost my friend.

You revealed to me, my life didn't end.

I got on my knees and I said a prayer.

When I needed you most, you were there.

I remember your love and your amazing grace.

All your great works, I've seen it take place.

Every blessing and provision, I'm thankful for.

I remember it Lord, all this and more.
