THE REST OF THE STORY

 

The Bible reveals the history,

especially the beginning.

We know how it ends,

it's not a mystery.

The scriptures states,

we're told to obey.

But unfortunately,

it didn't happen this way.

It began with a serpent,

he deceived Adam and Eve.

Jesus became our hero,

because he saved humanity.

The rest of the story,

is not completed.

We know death was conquered,

and Satan will be defeated.

There will be wars,

and rumors of wars.

The end is near,

but it's not over.

According to the Bible,

we know God wins.

Soon we will see,

when Jesus comes again.

You search for answers,

you search for truth.

It's in the bible,

for us to view.

You search about hope,

you find it's there.

In Lamentations 3:25,

seek him while he's here.

You search for assurance,

it's in God's book.

In Romans 8:28,

so take a look.

You search about help,

there's a verse for you.

Read Psalm 91:14,

there's more scriptures too.

You search about wisdom,

look no further.

Read James 1:5,

ask God our Father.

You search about faith,

the bible tells us.

In Galatians 2:16,

someone you can trust.

You search about salvation,

read John 3:16.

Jesus died for us,

for sins God foreseen.

Read Hebrews 13:5,

a promise to remember.

The words he said, 

will stand forever. 

WHAT'S IN THE BIBLE

 

Read about Moses and Joshua,

who carried out God's plan.

To lead all the Israelites,

into the Promised Land.

Read about the prophets,

who revealed what God said.

There's also false teachers,

who chose to deceive instead.

There's fishermen and shepherds,

and even some spies.

Read about wise men and fools,

and a serpent who told lies.

People saw miracles and visions,

and even had dreams.

There's also kings and queens,

who plotted evil schemes.

Read about the many battles,

between the evil and good.

Jesus came to save the lost,

the only one who could.

These stories are not fiction,

they are all true.

It's the words from God,

and it was written for you.
