GOD'S WAY OF LIVING

 

If I read God's Word,

and trust what God said.

My faith will stand firm,

no matter what's ahead.

If I choose to live,

on God's instructions.

God will help me,

in my words and actions.

If I make God's Word,

my way of thinking.

My life will change,

to God's way of living.

If I submit to God's will,

and purpose for me.

And follow his ways,

then surely I'll see.

He'll direct my path,

led by his Spirit.

So the work I do,

is done through him.

God's plan will unfold,

based on God's time.

So any good works,

the Lord's light will shine.

IMPORTANCE OF THE BIBLE

 

I open up the bible,

and read it every day.

To renew my mind,

what God had to say.

It keeps me focused,

what I need to do.

To follow God's way,

and to please God too.

I open up the Bible,

and read another verse.

It tells me about God,

and how great he is.

I read about his love,

and his amazing grace.

He's a merciful God,

who's worthy of our praise.

I open up the Bible,

it's not just a book.

It's the Word of God,

it helps if I look.

It's better to know,

and always to obey.

It's important to read it,

I want to be saved.

LIVE FOR JESUS

 

I look inside my home,

I see everything I own.

But one day will come,

this will all be gone.

Nothing I can keep,

so I think about this.

What did I accomplish,

is this what life is?

It's more than possessions,

or what I gain.

So I should never do,

what's done in vain.

I know there is more,

and not just for me.

Now the question is,

what could it be?

The earth has nothing,

that I desire,

There's something better,

than anything I acquire.

I find it's Jesus,

and he's been waiting.

With his open arms,

he said "abide in me"

I trust in him,

and embrace his plan.

He changed my life,

 only one who can.

So I live for Jesus,

I have all I need.

With a new purpose,

now I can proceed. 

FROM THIS MOMENT

 

The word of God,

is within my heart.

I treasure his words, 

so they never depart.

They keep me going,

during trials I bare.

So I never forget,

to say a prayer.

I begin each day,

to renew my mind.

There's always a verse,

that I will find.

God speaks to me,

with words to remind.

He's here to help,

when I'm in a bind.

I may not know,

what I face today.

But my savior Lord,

will lead the way.

So when the time comes,

the battle I'm in.

I choose this moment,

to trust in him.

My choices really matter,

so I remember this.

I want my desires,

to always reflect his.

So from this moment,

a promise I can say.

To do God's will,

and to love and obey.
