WE BELONG TO JESUS

 

Let's get rid of hatred,

that's so prevalent today.

Let's be more careful,

in what we say.

Put away any bitterness,

and remove any anger.

Let's find a way,

to make things better.

Let's approach each day,

with the right mindset.

Everyone matters to God,

and not only that.

God has called us,

to love one another.

Build each other up,

and help each other.

If someone hurt you,

we need to forgive.

And those in need,

we cheerfully give.

It's time we unite,

to those around us.

So they will see,

we belong to Jesus.

I KNOW JESUS

 

I know about the cross,

and the blood he shed.

I know about the healings,

and words he said.

He's the Son of God,

and the living Word.

I know about his teachings,

from what I heard.

I know he came,

to do his Father's will.

With all said and done,

it was fulfilled.

He's the Good Shepherd.

and he's my provider.

He's more than that,

he is my Savior.

I know about his promise,

he'll never forsake me.

I gained all this knowledge,

it's the best thing.

The Bible is my source,

I know all this.

I can honestly say,

I KNOW JESUS! 

DO THIS EVERYDAY

 

We love the Lord,

and meditate on his Word.

Our commitment to obey,

and follow God's way.

Seek his face always,

and praise him everyday.

Worship and serve him,

be led by his Spirit.

Be mindful what we do,

and say what is true.

Share with what we got,

that pleases our God.

We encourage one another,

and help each other.

Do not covet anything,

but thank God for everything.

We love our neighbor,

and proclaim our Savior.

We forgive like God does,

no matter how bad it was.

Remember always to pray,

and do this every day.

THE REST OF THE STORY

 

The Bible reveals the history,

especially the beginning.

We know how it ends,

it's not a mystery.

The scriptures states,

we're told to obey.

But unfortunately,

it didn't happen this way.

It began with a serpent,

he deceived Adam and Eve.

Jesus became our hero,

because he saved humanity.

The rest of the story,

is not completed.

We know death was conquered,

and Satan will be defeated.

There will be wars,

and rumors of wars.

The end is near,

but it's not over.

According to the Bible,

we know God wins.

Soon we will see,

when Jesus comes again.  

HOW GREAT GOD IS

 

When you think about God,

what do you know?

The way I found out,

the Bible told me so.

He created the universe,

and everything around us.

The depth of his love, 

how can we comprehend this?

We're never out of his sight,

since God is everywhere.

So wherever we may go,

he'll always be there.

The sovereignty of God,

who know all things.

His Word goes forth,

and accomplishes everything.

The grace of God,

provides salvation to all.

God had it planned,

long before our fall.

The love of God,

was fully on display.

Jesus died for us,

so we can be saved.

We read about God's ways,

we may not understand it.

But we are assured,

his ways are perfect.

So if we know,

how great God is.

He deserves to be exalted,

he's worthy of our praise.

VOLUNTEERS

 

I know a friend,

who's always on the go.

He takes a trip,

to a place I know.

It's the Senior Center,

where he volunteers.

It's every Tuesday,

you find him there.

I know a friend,

who found his calling.

He delivers meals,

every Wednesday morning.

The task may be easy.

but it's a blessing.

He brings the food,

to those who are hungry.

I know many others,

who take on a task.

They're ready to help,

when someone asks.

There are many ways,

they help someone.

Volunteers play a role,

an important one.

WHAT'S INSIDE THE BIBLE

 

What's inside the Bible,

we need to know?

It's a common question,

that we can't ignore.

It's the Word of God,

we need to obey.

We find those who did,

and those who disobeyed.

The Bible has many stories,

what happened back then.

There's a story about Daniel,

in the lion's den.

We read about Moses,

who parted the Red Sea.

Even when the Israelites,

were all set free.

When the sun stood still,

while the battle went on.

Israelites marched seven days.

walls of Jericho came down.

Sin of Adam and Eve,

affected all women and men.

Jesus came from heaven,

to save us from sin.

The good news is,

we know how it ends.

Jesus comes back again,

our new life begins.

THERE'S ONLY ONE WAY

 

What will happen to me,

when my life is over?

Where will I be,

in the life after?

Is it a place,

where it's much better?

Will I find peace,

questions to ponder?

WHEN YOU KNOW THE TRUTH,

WE ALL NEED A SAVIOR.

JESUS IS THE ANSWER,

THERE'S NO WAY OTHER.

ETERNAL LIFE IS OFFERED,

FOR THOSE WHO REPENT.

IT'S TIME TO CHOOSE,

YOU CAN START THIS MOMENT.

What will happen to those,

who have departed?

Did they know Jesus,

have they repented?

Did they choose the path.

based on their own reasoning?

Or made the right choice,

that has a happy ending?

WHEN YOU KNOW THE TRUTH,

WE ALL NEED A SAVIOR.

JESUS IS THE ANSWER.

THERE'S NO WAY OTHER.

ETERNAL LIFE IS OFFERED,

FOR THOSE WHO REPENT.

IT'S TIME TO CHOOSE,

YOU CAN START THIS MOMENT.

JESUS LOVES ME

 

Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves me.

It's in the Bible,

for everyone to see.

The more I know him,

the more I can say.

He's my Savior.

I proclaim his name.

Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves me.

I know it's true,

from what I seen.

From all his provisions.

and all his blessings.

And even the time,

when he healed me.

Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves me.

That's what Jesus said,

that's why I believe.

Because I am assured,

in his unfailing love.

I look at the cross,

that's proof enough.

Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves me.

There's no greater love,

I will ever see.

His love is meant,

for everyone else too.

So you should know.

that Jesus loves you.

GOD HAD IT ALL PLANNED

 

I start each day,

with a simple errand.

Before I could begin,

God had it all planned.

A knock on my door,

it was an elderly man.

He asked for my help,

I did what I can.

I heard my phone ring.

it was my neighbor.

She needed my assistance,

I was there to help her.

It was another moment,

I performed a good deed.

Because I'm happy to help,

for those in need.

I know in my heart,

it's the right thing to do.

It is God's will,

for everyone to help too.

I thank God every night,

for every opportunity.

I do all this,

so God would be pleased.

SELF REFLECTION

 

Take a look at yourself,

what do you see?

Is it someone,

who's friendly as can be?

Are you quick to listen,

and slow to speak?

Are you willing to help, 

for those who are weak?

Is there a smile,

planted on your face?

Or is it a frown,

you need to replace?

Is it someone,

who's hard to please?

Or is it someone,

who's always at ease?

It's a self-reflection,

on the image you display.

In all your actions,

and what you say.

It's through your habits,

the people will observe.

The real truth,

if the Lord you serve.

JESUS WILL RETURN

 

Crime rates are soaring,

many people are suffering.

Families have split apart.

many others are grieving.

They're rumors of wars,

battles across the globe.

Many people are dying,

is there any hope?

These are turbulent times,

it's a sobering fact.

So it does matter,

how we react.

The Book of Revelation,

reveals what's ahead.

So we keep in mind,

to what God said.

Do not be anxious,

do not be afraid.

God has already promised.

we will be saved.

We continue to pray,

and read his Word.

The day is coming.

when Jesus will return. 

I LIVE FOR JESUS

 

I woke up this morning,

with Jesus on my mind.

With a strong desire,

to be Christlike.

To fulfill my purpose,

I was created to be.

So the deeds I do,

the people will see.

I live for Jesus,

and glorify his name.

So they will believe,

and do the same.

I woke up this morning,

with the right mindset.

I serve the Lord,

there's nothing better than that.

I make every effort,

to please the Lord.

With a positive attitude,

based on God's Word.

Then my actions will show,

if I live for Jesus.

Live as Jesus did,

the people will see this.
