Maybe a story with a twist,
or laughter it can bring.
The anticipation is high,
I can hardly wait.

his book will be great.

Ballad of Volleyball Team

Volleyball is my favorite sport.
I love to play on the court.
To bump a ball and try to set,
To jump, spike and play the net.
Beyond any glory or fame,
I love to play this game.
BALLAD OF A VOLLEYBALL TEAM

They toss the ball high and hit it over the net,
When the ball comes back, they're ready to set.
They bump the ball and set for the spike,
They hit it over the net, with all there might.
Bump, set and spike, they know how to do,
All because of practice and have some fun too.
They call for each ball, that comes their way,
They dive for the ball, to keep it in play.
They're ready to set and slam it down.
They hit the ball and keep it in bounds.
They work as a team and play so good,
They play this game, the way you should.
They play so hard, it shows in the game,
They are the best, (your team) is their name.

Wild About The Bible

I'm wild about the bible,
I love to read God's book.
I find it very exciting,
every time I look.
It's more than stories,
it's lessons you can learn.
It was written for you,
in God's own word.
His word is powerful,
it can surely help you.
It contains many promises,
which are all true.
Mediate on his word,
keep it in your heart.
Read the bible daily,
it's a great way to start.
I'm wild about the bible,
I love what I read.
I go through the pages
and find what I need.
I search for a topic,
inside this holy book.
Then I pick out a verse,
and take a closer look.
I read about Jesus,
how he saved the lost,
It was an ultimate sacrifice,
that paid the cost.
I can rely on the bible,
and faithfully look ahead.
Because I live on the words
that God had said.

BE HAPPY !

It's not fun to be pouty,
I rather be silly.
It's not fun  to be grumpy,
it's better to be funny.
It's not fun to be crabby,
I like to be zany.
It's not fun to be grouchy,
I rather be happy.
It's not fun to be moody,
it's better to be cheery.
It's not fun to be angry,
I like to be friendly.
I don't want to miss,
A life full of bliss.
So I will try this,
Instead of being crabby,
I am gonna be happy.

Kids

They smile and cheer,
they have so much fun.
They run and catch,
they play with everyone.
They wiggle and twist,
they're funny in all they do.
They skip and jump,
they ride their bikes too.
They see and touch,
they look around.
They yell and scream,
they make so many sounds.
They giggle and laugh,
with old friends and new.
They fight and fall,
they get dirty too.
They have so much fun,
they are a joy to see.
They are the ones,
that bring out the kid in me.

Feed the one !

Jim and Tim did not get along.
They fought and argued every single day.
"Give it back," Jim shouted.
Jim grabbed his brother from behind
and wrestled him to the floor.
"What's going on in there?" their mother asked.
Their father walked in and separated the boys.
"Will you boys ever stop fighting?"
The two parents decided enough is enough.
The boys will spend a weekend with Grandpa.
Jim and Tim followed Grandpa to the car.
"Where are we going?" Jim asked Grandpa.
"Let's visit an animal sanctuary," Grandpa announced.
They stopped near a large gated fence
where lions roamed in the field.
Grandpa sat both boys down
and proceeded to tell them a story.
"There are two lions that continue
to fight over everything.
One lion was full of anger,
hate and resentment.
The other lion was full of
love, peace and compassion."
"Which lion do you think will
win this fight?" Grandpa asked them.
The two brothers looked at each other
and shook their heads. "We don't know."
"The one you feed." Grandpa replied.
Grandpa leaned over and
whispered to them.
"The same fight is going
on the inside of you."
"Which one will you feed?

Be My Valentine

I'll send you a card,
and write you a letter.
I'll bring you some hugs,
to make it even better.
I'll make you some tea,
and cook your favorite food.
Set up a candle lit dinner,
for a romantic mood.
We'll cuddle on the couch,
and watch some TV.
In a quiet moment,
you lean and kiss me.
We'll sit on the patio,
and watch the sun set.
I'll recite you a poem,
from the moment we met.
When the night draws near,
we'll go for a walk.
We'll stroll by the beach,
where we'll sit and talk.
In the light of the night,
under the shining moon.
I'll take you in my arms,
and sing you a tune.
We'll lie on the sand,
and scan the night sky.
Make a wish on a star,
before it goes by.
When the night is over,
we'll hold each other tight.
We have one long kiss,
before we say good night.

Lost & Found

Joey was on his way to class when he
accidentally dropped his ten dollar bill.
Mr. Z, the teacher picked up the ten dollars and
placed it on the desk at the lost and found room.
Billy walked in and spotted the ten dollars.
He grabbed the money and handed the ten
dollars to Randy in exchange for his comic book.
Randy trekked over to Marty's house and handed
his friend ten dollars for the latest comic book.
Marty made his way to Jill's house and
handed her the ten dollars to pay off his debt.
Jill headed over to the neighbors house and handed the
gentleman ten dollars in exchange for a bucket of apples.
The neighbor took a trip to Billy's house and handed
the young boy ten dollars for picking the apples.
Billy raced back to the lost and found room
and placed the ten dollars back on the desk.
Joey headed over to the lost and found room,
where he discovered his missing ten dollar bill.
IS IT POSSIBLE,
 ALL TRANSACTIONS ARE LEGIT?
THINK ABOUT IT.

THE FIRST CHRISTMAS

The word came true when the time was right.
When the shepherds saw the beautiful sight.
It's our Savior Jesus who was born,
He came from heaven in the early morn.
It was that night when salvation had begun,
When God had sent his beloved Son.
He came down to save us from our sin,
We could surely see God's love within.
He took our place for our sake,
So that our bondage of sin would break.
So every Christmas, we recall that day,
We proclaim it's Jesus birthday.
