My selfishness and my pride,
were all on display.
I pursued my own desires,
I did it my way.
I became a slave to sin,
I refused to obey.
I ignored the warnings,
and hope it would go away.
All the troubles and problems,
I put myself in.
My disobedience was exposed,
and also my sin.
I was so ashamed,
for what I've done.
I humbly knelt down,
I prayed to God's Son.
I repented for my sins,
and I was forgiven.
My old self is gone,
now I'm born again.
I'm faithful and obedient,
I follow God's way.
I share my testimony,
I thank God every day.
