WHEN GOD IS INVOLVED

 

God has a purpose, 

for all his people.

God even has plans,

 for this elderly couple.

They have a weakness,

they have a disability.

They rely on God's power,

not their own ability.

God works through them,

so everyone can see.

They help many people,

that included me.

The impact they make,

by their words and action.

I witness first hand,

good things happen.

This experience reminds me,

God's point of view.

It's not if I can,

but what God can do.

When God is involved,

and we rely on him.

We can do the same,

like the couple did.

MY ANSWER IS YES

 

When God gives me a task,

and I say I can't.

I look at my weakness,

and not only that.

It seems impossible,

I play it in my head.

But if I don't try,

then my faith is dead.

Even if I feel,

 I am not qualified.

It's what God can do,

that I should try.

If I lack the skills,

it doesn't matter.

My willingness to obey,

is the factor.

It's God who works,

in all of us.

So we focus on,

how great God is.

The Lord has a plan,

for me to do this.

The task he's given me,

my answer is YES!

IT'S ABOUT GOD'S WILL

 

My goals have changed,

especially what I wanted.

Now it's about God's will,

and I'm  just getting started.

To fulfill my purpose,

that's what I'm striving for.

To serve the Lord,

and praise him even more.

With every task I face,

I depend on the Lord.

To provide me strength,

and knowledge of his Word.

My focus is clear,

that I want to see.

I want to become,

the person I should be.

So the works I do,

and the words I say.

I do it for the Lord,

and bring him glory today.

With my new life,

my future looks brighter.

Since I gave my life,

to my Lord and Savior.

GOD'S PURPOSE FOR ME

 

God put me here,

with a purpose in mind.

His plan will unfold,

that he designed.

A God given mission,

that's assigned to me.

To do good works,

wherever it may be.

It may not be,

a role Moses had.

To lead the Israelites,

to the promise land.

Or be like Solomon,

who became a king.

But I surely believe,

God has a role for me.

It may not be,

what Elijah did.

Or have a role, 

God gave to David.

Wherever God sends me,

that's where I'll go.

To fulfill my purpose,

that is my goal.

HONOR OUR LORD

 

We have a reason to live,

and a purpose to fulfill.

All part of God's plan,

to do God's will.

It's a role we're given,

whether large or small.

This is our time,

to give it our all.

So the things we do,

and the words we say.

We make it our goal,

to honor our Lord today.

So we begin each day,

we open up our heart.

We do everything in love,

let this be the start.

We have a purpose,

the bible makes it clear.

Even where we are,

God put us there.

The work we do,

is part of God's plan.

He has equipped us,

for the task on hand.

It's all by design,

this great opportunity.

To honor our Lord,

with our God given ability.

So now it's time,

we give it our best.

We do it for the Lord,

and we'll be blessed.
