I GO TO PRAY

I get down on my knees, and I go to pray.

I speak to the Lord, to help me today.

I know he can help, I got to believe.
I call out to him, for everything I need.

So each morning, before I get to start.

I pray to the LORD, with a open heart.

Then something happens, that I can't explain,

I just want to worship and praise his name.

I get this moment, when I raise my hand.

I get this feeling, I want to stand.

I can feel his presence and I start to sing.

I praise the Lord and thank him for everything.

I bring out the bible and I start to read.

All about his promise, that he will help me.

So wherever I go, I live by this faith.

I can face the world, with each step I take.

  

Let's Be Happy

It's not fun to be pouty,

I rather be silly.

It's not fun to be grumpy,

it's better to be funny.

It's not fun to be crabby,

I like to be zany.

It's not fun to be grouchy,

I rather be happy.

It's not fun to be gloomy,

it's better to be cheery.

It's not fun to be angry,

I like to be friendly.

I don't want to miss,

a life full of bliss.

So no more feeling moody,

I am going to be HAPPY!

Just the little things, 
can mean so much.
Especially when you called,
to keep in touch.
The cards and letters,
 that you would send.
It's nice to know,
 that I am your friend.
Nowhere in this world,
 I will ever find.
Endearing person like you,
 who is one of a kind.
There is a place,
 deep down in my heart.
The love for you,
 that will never part.
Each day I hope,
 nothing will keep us apart.

SAY A LITTLE PRAYER

Just say a little prayer,

when life becomes grim.

Talk to the Lord,

and ask help of him.

When the fears buildup,

and the future looks bleak.

He will give you strength,

and you won't be weak.

Just say a little prayer,

for every care and need.

He wants to hear from you,

you just got to believe.

He's always at your side,

and just a prayer away.

Go ahead and trust him,

and talk to him today.

Would You Call ?

If I promised you, I wouldn't scare you with my looks,

 WOULD YOU CALL?

If I told you, I was bald and skinny

and not really tall?

If I said I was poor, but was friendly and kind,

WOULD YOU CALL?

 If I promised you, I would be there,

to help you anytime at all?

If I told you, I was shy and didn't drink or smoke,

WOULD YOU CALL?

If I said I couldn't dance, 

but I took you to a shopping mall?

If I told you, I was a Christian,

and wouldn't take you to a bar,

WOULD YOU CALL?

If I promised you, I would treat you nice

and no swearing at all?

If you said yes, to any of the above,

all you have to do is CALL!

Valentine's Day

I'll send you a card,

and write you a letter.

I'll bring you some hugs,

to make it even better.

I'll make you some tea,

and cook your favorite food.

Set up a candle lit dinner,

for a romantic mood.

We'll cuddle on the couch,

and watch some TV.

In this very moment,

you lean and kiss me.

We'll sit on the patio,

and watch the sunset.

I'll recite you a poem.

about the moment we met.

When the night draws near,

we'll go for a walk.

We'll stroll by the park,

where we'll sit and talk.

In the light of the night,

under the shining moon,

I'll take you in my arms,

and sing you a tune.

We'll lie on the grass,

and scan the night sky.

Make a wish on a star,

while it goes by.

When the night is over,

we'll hold each other tight.

We have one long kiss,

before we say good night.

Keep The Faith

Whenever you are down 

and feeling really sad.

Even when you're ill 

and your day is going bad.

Anytime you worry 

or have some fear.

Maybe you feel alone 

and long for someone near.

Remember that God is there beside you.

He's always there, to help you through.

That's a promise, he will never forsake.

Just remember, to keep the faith.

Whenever there is trouble

or any type of pain.

Even when you struggle 

and your effort seems in vain.

Anytime there is a burden

or even a broken heart.

Maybe there is some grief

 and you're torn apart.

Remember that God is there beside you.

He's always there to help you through.

That's a promise, he will never forsake.

Just remember to keep the faith.

There may come a time 

when something goes wrong.

It seems to linger on, 

and your life seems gone.

Whenever that happens 

and you're wondering what to do.

You got to believe in God 

and he'll help you too.

Exercise

So are you ready to get fit?

Do you have time to commit?

Exercise is easy, it can be done.

It's a workout and it's really fun.

If you stumble, now and then.

Just get back up and start again.

Choose one exercise, that suits you.

There is so much, that you can do.

Aerobics, ballet and dance too.

Even a treadmill, to name a few.

Go for a jog or get on a bike.

Play some tennis or go on a hike.

You don't have to run a race.

You can go at your own pace.

Stretch a little bit, followed by a swim.

You can use weights, to stay trim.

So head to the gym, and use your feet.

You can do this, with rhythm and beat.

They tell you, it's healthy and fun.

Whether you walk, jog or even run.

You can exercise, an hour each day.

Bring along a friend and start today.

No more excuses, it's time to commit.

Set yourself a goal, and just do it.

  

Make Me Smile

Smile at your mailman, smile at the cook.

Smile at your neighbor, don't just look.

Smile at your teachers, at your school.

Show everyone, that smiling is cool. 

Smile at the barber, smile at your kin.

Smile at the painter, don't hold it in.

Share your smile, who are close to thee.

Show your smile, for everyone to see.

Smile at the gardener, say a little hi.

Smile at the doctor, don't be shy.

Share your smile, like the morning sun.

Show the whole world, how it's done.

So walk to the park, or any other place.

You can put a smile, on everyone's face.

So take a little stroll and say hello.

And share your smile, wherever you go.

I am a stranger of your past.

Finally saying these words at last.

Something you need to know.

That I have to let you go.

It was not worth all the pain.

All I tried to do was in vain.

I tried so hard to be your friend.

But you chose to let it end.

I often thank the Lord,

for watching me every day.

Never gone for a moment,

for he heard my every prayer.

Every time I need him,

he promised he'll be there.

that he heard my every cry.

And took away this pain,

that I always had inside.

I often thank the Lord,

for my life he gave for free.

Never judge me for my sins,

but his love he has for me.

I often thank the Lord,

for the gifts I got today.

And each and every blessing,

that will surely come this way.
