It's Eileen Spinelli Day!

SOMEBODY LOVES YOU, MR. HATCH
Mr. Hatch was a dull man with a boring job on a joyless day.Until he received a mysterious package with a note "Somebody Loves You." The surprise package brings out the best in him. Several people noticed the change but unfortunately the package was delivered to the wrong address. Mr. Hatch mood changed until his new friends rallied to bring him back to a cheerful state of mind. 


DO YOU HAVE A HAT?
A rhyming story that showcases hats from historical figures like Abraham Lincoln. The author lists all types of hats throughout the book with the question, "Do you have a Hat?" The illustrations with the bright colors added the final touch to a great book.




THE BEST TIME OF DAY
The author uses various animals and people who live in a farm to describe their best time of day.The details on the illustrations are very appealing and adds color to this delightful story. When is your best time of day? Highly recommend this to your reading list





SOMEDAY
You enter the mind of a small girl who has big dreams. This inspirational story alternates between Someday and the present. She dreams of becoming an artist and today she's off to help her dad paint the shed. You will enjoy her fantasies and also her daily routines that prepare her for the future.




HUG A BUG
This rhyming story encourages us to go out and hug everyone. You start with hug a pillow to hug your pet. In the end, you hug the whole wide world or try. This hug fest also encourages us to hug a grouch.

MISS FOX'S CLASS SHAPES UP
Miss Fox noticed her students do not have healthy habits. She announced, "This class is going to get fit." Miss Fox helps her students develop a healthier lifestyle. They participate in fun exercises and are ready for Field Day. The author utilized her characters very well in this important topic.
